Thanx for all the awesome answers everyone. I forgot to add, i brush my hair a LOT evry day; i dont use a hair straightener, but sometimes i blowdry my hair, since it's really long. ive also tried henna and honey on my hair, it's an awesome color now, but it keeps falling. also, my scalp shows a little only near my forehead. and i went overseas for a while, and my hair didnt fall there. Maybe the water in my area is the problem?

This time of year everyone loses more hair than usual; it's a seasonal change. Hair loss may also be caused by diet, pregnancy, or illness, so consider those matters as well.
Qoute:
If you're really worried, ask your doctor, however, experts say you really only need to worry if your part is getting wider or you can see your scalp through your hair. But don't worry, not all hair loss is permanent. There is a specialty doctor called a 'trichologist,' an expert in hair problems. You can make an appointment and ask the doc for a diagnosis. hope this is helpful...best wishes,

Stress is the number one reason hair falls out. Next is medication.

Do the things you know you need to do to relax and make your life more harmonious and peaceful. Essential oils ...100% make a huge difference in relaxing your body and mind. Do some homework on the oils.

You can always have a glass of wine,,,just one...that helps the nerves.

I wouldn't over do with the hair products though. You may clog the follicles and cause more problems..Just use professional products and remember not to over stress your hair with ponytails and tight hairdo's.

Ok all the answers so far are good, it could be a number of things or a combination. Hair does "shed" more this time of year, so it could be that, it very well may be stress, it could also be your diet, lacking in vitamins ect.
My advice is to ask a DR. to rule out serious health problems and start to take a multi vitamin.

Mayday get to both the doctor and a hair stylist. If your hair is falling out that fast something may be wrong with u. r u taking medication..they may be too strong. Stress also causes this. Get to the hair stylist to start with deep conditioners, trim and possible style to even out the entire hair. She will suggest growth shampoo/conditioner and deep conditioner. U can start this at home but since its sever get to a hair stylist to start u off first. U may also be able to take prenatal vitamins which promote hair growth. Don't put any heat to your hair that u don't have to until u get to a professional.

I have darkish brown thick hair certainly. When it's darkish brown it appears healthful, glossy, and appears like I have much less hair & thinner. Thats simply an phantasm, variety of like whilst you put on black garments, you seem thinner. When I get rather blonde highlights in all places, it appears rather thick, broken, and appears like I have a ton of hair and you'll be able to see each layer and attitude. a million.) Dark brown skinny hair doesnt seem dangerous. two.) Dark hair wont rather make your hair seem thicker if in case you have skinny hair to start with. There are alot of goods in the market to make your hair seem extra volumized equivalent to shampoos. Also ensure you're taking a diet day-to-day and consume correct vitamins. Your hair gets fitter.

For one thing, dont put it up in a bun, ponytail or anything cuz that pulls ur hair. just leave it down. what i do, cuz i kinda have the same problem, i dont brush it for a long time or put it up, i use this shampoo that makes my hair look really silky and nice, and it doesnt really fall as much. i dont know if that will work for u, but u can try!

It's normal, don't worry about it, unless of course it's coming out in clumps. Your stressing yourself out over this. You can always do Scalp treatments, once a week, that really does help the scalp and the hair. look in wal-mart, cvs or other pharmacy's for scalptreatment products.

I would definately make an appointment to see a doctor, it could be a condition. It might not be serious, as in a sign of worse things, but it could be simple and treatable too. Stop living like this, it's probably doubling your anxiety wondering if and when it'll stop falling out.
