Are you stupid?!!! Take it to the vet ASAP!!!! If it says do not eat, it can kill people, so do you think it'll kill the dog too?

I think your dog will be fine. It would say "toxic" if it was dangerous. Things that say "do not eat" like the deoxidizer are just letting people know that it is not food. My husband worked for Poison Control for years. He got calls on this subject every day.

I'm sure the packager didn't put anything poisonous in the dog treat package! That would just be asking for trouble! Don't worry about it. Just because its not food doesn't mean it's poison.

Call the vet or the emergency hospital near your house. KEEP A VERY CLOSE EYE ON YOUR DOG SO THAT IF HE VOMITS OR DOES ANYTHING ELSE YOU WILL KNOW. Also it might be a good idea to give him or her some water so that it will get it moving through his/her system quicker.

Call your vet. I know its late, but most have a 24 hour answering service, or a phone number for an emergency vet. Or call poison control. They will tell you how harmful it is for your dog,and what to do. Animal poison control is (888) 426-4435

..
Now that you are responsible for a dog, you need to learn how to put dangerous things out of its reach. Also you need to learn how to train your dog to stay away from dangerous places.

I hope you had sense enough to take your dog to the vet.
