No I wouldn't sleep with a person on the first date...because you aren't intriguing after that...if you are bad in bed (hypothetically speaking of course) then there is no reason for her stick around..no emotional connections....Always use protection...most of the people that have STDs don't even know they have them...plus you could get knocked up and that's an 18 year commitment

NO!!!! you don't sleep with any one on a first Date this person will leave you after that one date it's to easy. and as for as the Trustworthy thing how do you know that this person doesn't have a STD. also if you just have to Yes please use protection. because this can really Destroy you in more ways than one. teach yourself as an Adult not to be Crazy, the sex could last about 5 to 10 min's but the STD will last forever think about it okay.

I might if I knew them before the date. My now husband and me were really good friends for about a year and then went on a "date" and we slept together it was great... We did use protection, even though we trusted each other. I knew he would never give me something if he knew about it but somethings you just don't know about... We didn't stop using protection until we got checked at the clinic... How are you going to know if you love someone on your first date?

I don't know about the countable date rules regarding sex, but is this someone (I hope) you want to continue seeing after you have sex on the first date? If you really like this girl, then maybe wait a few more dates, just so she has a piece of mind about it.
And yes, use protection, no matter what!

Don't know that I would sleep with someone I like on a first date if I sensed there was a potential future. If there is a future, why rush? Taking it slow and laying a solid foundation is the best approach to avoid inevitable argument fodder and mistrust later (i.e. why should I trust you with that guy/girl? afterall you slept with me on the first date!)
Protection is kinda a good idea, at least for the first bit. You never know with people.

I would, if it felt right, and it's what we both wanted. Obviously.
As for protection, I'd still use it.
How trustworthy can they be if you're only on the first date?

I woiuldn't sleep with someone on the first date- it's extremely trampy.
And even if you trust someone, ALWAYS use protection. Trust doesn't keep an egg from getting fertilized. And trust doesn't protect me in the event they have an STD they're still unaware of.

It depends. If I've known the person closely for almost my entire life, it could be possible. But not without protection. It's not a matter of trust, but people contract STDs without knowing. Still right now i'm a virgin, and i'm remaining chaste.

I think that we take sex much to casually these days. Having sex with a person on the first date is definitely something I would not do, with or without protection. It's just not right.
