Do you think it's possible to fall in love with somebody like this:
Okay, I met a guy in a chat room. We talk every night for hours, but just by IM or texting. We haven't met, because he lives in England and I live in the USA. We haven't even heard each other's voices. We've exchanged pictures. He asked me to marry him. He's earning money to move over here and he wants me to marry him. I am in love with him. Opinions? Inputs?

As long as he doesn't ask for money or send you checks for you to cash and then send him some of the money. Those are scammers!
I think you like the person you are chatting with and are in love with the idea of all this. I am not knocking you, it's okay. But until you spend some time with this person you can't say that you are in love with him. What if he gets here and his manners are poor, or what if when you meet, that spark isnt there. It does happen. Enjoy the chatting for what it is...Time you have to get to know each other. There are calling cards that you can purchase to call him, or call your local phone provider and find out about continental rates. My b/f's mum is in England and he calls her every week for .10 cents a minute. Just be wise, I haven't heard of anyone who has met someone on the internet that lived in another country, where it wasn't a scam! Not saying this is, just beware and good luck!

Well... how old are you two exactly? If both of you are out of high school and able to get married and are actually serious about this. First, try to meet this guy. Sometimes people are different online then in person. Go out on a couple of dates and get to know each other better. Then, if all goes the way you think it will go and you both love each other to the ends of the earth. Then yes, I would go with it. But first make sure you do completely and thoroughly know him first.

i dont think you need to marry him because you love him, can't you just live with him for a couple of years ,to see if your compatible for one another, if not go your own way and no messy divorces, if it is really love all the best if you guys think it can work out. you both are jumping just a little to quickly into marriage. do you even know his birthday or his last name? lol

you should definentally meet him before deciding to marry him. because he could act completely different on IM then he does in real person- so you dont really know the real him. i believe it is possible that you love him, because i fell in love with a guy that i had never met--so its possible to love him- but you might be falling in love with a different guy than he really is. meet him and date him for a little bit before deciding to marry him. thats my opinion. i hope this all works out for you!

It is possible to fall for someone in a way such as this, but as for marrying him, don't be so hasty. 1st find out who he is exactly and don't meet up with him in private secluded place. be very careful 'cause the guy can be anybody. well, I wish you both the best of luck and hopes everything works out for you

do not do it, you actually have no idea who this person really is. He is telling you the things you want to here. If he moves to the U.S. make sure he has his own place to live and a job that way he is not living off of you. This will tell exactly what kind of person he really is.

yes, you fall in love with the real person you meet because he's saying what you like. After that, it's too difficult to say no, at least the guy is too ugly.

Great for him cuz he can cheat on you and get away with it.
Not good for you cuz he may never pay to come down to meet you. filling yourself with hopelss wishes and fantassies.
LDR are not good cuz you cant hold em in your arms.
Everybody needs a special touch.
