I am hairy from the waist down but my upper body is like a baby(little hair). Am I weird for this?

No, that's fine. Your upper body will very slowly become hairier.
Ask your girlfriend to check this out herself by touch. Most girls will laugh, but many will check to see that this is the truth. Tell them your grandfather was a werewolf and they'll laugh some more.

We're all weird in some way. Those how have serious issues like midgets and those with no arms can have very difficult lives. Your issue is certainly not uncomon, and I don't think it is anything more than anoying. I've known people with quite a bit of hair on lower areas and it just takes a bit more care. Now the social issues could be devistating, so your friends need to be people who can deal with it and never think about making you feel bad. It's good if you can shore up your will power to stand up for yourself. Teasing can be dealt with when you know it's coming from idiots.
If it's really bad, then when you can aford it, go to a laser hair removal clinic.

It's fine, just relax. It's not weird at all! If you're really worried, tell your parents. They will have advise and if they think there's a problem, they'll contact the doctor.

you are not a weirdo or anything. That's just the way your were made.
If you feel strange about it then you can get it waxed but I say just love yourself. As long as your are comfortable with you, others will be too.
