I don't know where you live, but in MN, the flu has been going on around here like wild. You may be having diarrhea and cramps, and that is why you are in so much pain. If you cannot have a friend or loved one get you some Immodium, and you think you can make it to the store, buy some. It will help you, and hopefully ease your cramps. The good thing is that, eventually the diarrhea will stop, cuz you have nothing left in your system. It is a good thing, but you need to keep on fluids so you don't pass out. Scratch the top of your hand. If it leaves white dry marks, you are dehydrated. I can imagine how much pain you are in, I just took my friend to the ER last nite, cuz she had the flu and fibromyalgia, a muscle disease, which flared up cuz she was throwing up so much. It disrupted all her muscles and caused her a lot of pain.
On the other hand, you could have food poisoning. Think of what you have eaten lately. Did you go out to eat with someone? Do they have the same symptoms as you?
If you cannot get thru the nite, call the ER or ambulance. They may not keep you, but will give you some pills to help ease your tummy pain and give you fluids to rehydrate you.
Hope you feel better soon...

OK diarrhea can cause dehydration so replace lost fluid with electrolytes try Pedialyte this is only treatment necessary. Medicines that stop diarrhea may be helpful in some cases, but they are not recommended if diarrhea is from a bacterial infection stopping the diarrhea traps the organism in the intestines, prolonging the problem.Viral causes are either treated with medication or left to run their course, depending on the severity and type of the virus.Eat broth N soups avoid milk products and foods that are greasy, high-fiber or very sweet. These foods tend to aggravate diarrhea as you improve, you can add soft, bland foods to your diet, including bananas, plain rice, boiled potatoes, toast, crackers, cooked carrots and baked chicken without the skin or fat. You might also want 2 try gas relief medicine for you stomach discomfort.

drink a lot of fluids like water and tea.
Try to remember is it something u ate that caused this diarhea, it's important bcause u might have been food-poisoned and in this case u should see the doctor asap. If it's not something u ate then it's probably a stomach flue thing that will pass by itself.
Don't eat anything except banana, baked potatoes, rice, apple, crackers and soup until u get better.
sometime juice of 1/2 a lemon helps but u have do drink it all in at once and it will hurt your stomach a little but then u will go one final time to the bathroom then u will feel better. (but it's my grandma's remedie nothing medical)
Good Luck hope u get better soon

Take 2 imodium and one more after every episode. Drink clear fluids and don't eat for at least the next 12 hours.
If you are not better on Monday, or if you spike a high temp go to a doctor.

You don't want to get dehydrated, so be sure to drink plenty of water, Gatorade, etc...and NO CAFFEINE. If you've had diarrhea all day, you may want to take Imodium AD as directed on the box, Kaopectate or Pepto Bismouth. Yogurt is also a good food to eat when you have this stuff. If you're reasonably sure you haven't gotten food poisoning, just try to ride it out and take one of the aforementioned OTC meds and yogurt. Try to stay HYDRATED.

You already know to see the doctor. Try the BRAT diet - Bananas, Rice, Apple Sauce & Toast. Also, get either some gatorade or pedialite....start drinking that...your body is losing a lot of electrolites and they need to be replaced. Immodium AD would be a good start too, but that does not always work...

Go to the drugstore to buy some Imodium. It may also help to eat a few bananas to solidify your stools. When this occurs it is wise to limit your intake of dairy product [i.e.:milk, cheese, ice cream...].If your stomach is full of acid take a Zantac 150. You loose electrolytes from the body when you have this experience. Drink some of the children's Pedialyte to replenish the body. You have probably caught a virus.

Yes, medical attention is needed if you are in a lot of pain. Remember to keep taking fluids....tea, Gatorade. My grandmother used to give me a coke or tepid tea to settle my stomach and plain rice, or plain broth, to help with the diarrhea. If you have a fever and/or vomiting then head for the ER.
Feel better soon.

Actually they say to stop all food and drink except rice, bananas and applesause. Only water to drink....and lots of it...you do not want to get dehydrated. They say a tablespoon of Milk of Magnesia will help. Yes, it is for constipation...but it coats and eliminates what is bad in there...I know it feels like there is nothing in there. Vaseline and or Witch hazel will help sooth the "backside" area. And yes, you are right...if it continues, you need to see a doctor.

plenty of things can cause it..stress, food, food poisoning...etc...it soundslike you have what is refered to a a sloughed lining...NPO no food no cracjers... follow the excellent paramedics advice up above me and ....drink only water...lots of it ....take an anit-diarrheal of your choice. The milk of magnesia will help. I don't recommend taking anything else because that can only irritate your stomache and intestines more...
and yes...if you still have this tomorrow...see a doctor..not beeing smart...just realistic.
