There are MILLIONS of factors (well almost) that go into picking a wedding date. Yes weather plays a big role. Wedding dresses are really heavy and they get HOT underneath and you don't want to be sweaty. Winter weddings can be beautiful especially if you can rent a hall that decorates on their own for the holiday season, but do you live somewhere cold. Could a snow in be an issue?

Other factors to consider are what your friends and family and fiancee do. Are your bridesmaids in college and will they be taking finals or midterms? Will your sister have to pull her kids out of school for a week to come to the wedding, Do you really want to plan a wedding in the middle of tax season if you are a CPA? These are just small things to consider.

Other things to consider are budget and time restrictions. Plan on spending much more during peak wedding season ( June through September and the month of December) Also many of the venues are already taken and you may have to plan farther in advance than you may like.

Think first of your obligations, then WHERE you would like to get married, then a season and call the venues to see if they are available and check available dates.

You can get married whenever you want but its stressful enough and the more you plan and the more time you allow the more money you will save and the less stressed you will become. Congrats and Good Luck!

Thanksgiving time. You can take the whole week off and only take 3 days of vacation or if you are in the school system, you get the week off. SMILE. It is far enough from Christmas that you will get good presents and close enough that people are happy and excited for you. Probably the weekend before would be great. I think places are easier to find for Thanksgiving than spring (prom time) or summer or Christmas season or even Valentine's Day, when alot of people plan weddings.
That is my opinion. I got married around that time. I had a great time.

Depends on the colours that you want to use... If they are light in colour than you are probably wanting spring, Bright, vibrant colours than summer, Darker colours than fall, If you are into the green and red than Christmas is your time.. There is no such thing as only one perfect time it will be your perfect time because you are marrying the love of your life... I just recently got married in June it was beautiful even IF it did rain all day.. It was the only Saturday that it rained in June.. So it doesn't really matter what time of year it is.. The weather is not predictable.. Follow your heart, it has gotten you this far, it will get you to your perfect day.
Congratulations and Best Wishes on a happy and long future.

whenever you want.

spring weddings are pretty, fall weddings are as well, summer and winter all weddings are pretty!!!

is it going to be an indoor or outdoor wedding??
if its outdoors, you may want to stay away from getting married in the middle of the summer.

i got married this past april--it was an outdoors wedding
the weather wasn't too hot. it drizzled a little but all the flowers and trees were in bloom. it made for awesome pictures

congrats and good luck

I think that the most popular month is June, but I've always wanted a fall wedding. We're thinking about September.

Every season has it's pluses and minuses, depending on who you ask.

I would never get married in the summer. TOO HOT! I suggest March/April or Sep/Oct.
