Sometimes I just forget what I was thinking of. What I do now is just follow along: Intentionaly forget and do and think normally... in other things. What else could I do? Its just like my unstable computer: sometimes an error message appears telling me that the memory can't be read... Likewise I can't recall what I was thinking... But that doesn't happen too often now... Sorry for this question

Hi hun! If you suffer from black outs then you won't remember what was happening. If its like your mind shuts down, then I done that too. I think if you are under a lot of stress your mind can only handle so much, when it gets over loaded its a good possiblity you may experience a short blackout. Try to find out what is actually bothering you. If possible see a therapist to see if there is any underlying issues that need to be resolved. The only alternative is to just pick up from where you wake up from the blackout and continue on. I think if you start feeling like your mind is going to black out, stop what you are doing and just take some deep breaths and calm your spirit down. Hopefully this will deter than from happening. Good luck! Hugs! Von

I do this all the time... my father coined the phrase "mental flatulence" to describe it! I have worse trouble whenever I'm really tired, or suffering from mood instability (I have bipolar disorder). Changing my medications makes it worse too... It's embarrassing when you're talking to the nieghbors and keep calling the swimming pool a pond, or forget the point of what you're sayning midsentence and look like a mindless idiot. I just laugh it off, and let other people tlak for a while...

allot of things could be the problem.. diet.. there's allot of additives that cause all kinds of problems. Aspertame can mimic MS, cause migrains and memory loss for instance. Parasites in your gi tract can cause problems as well..Stress can cause this... really good weed can cause it.. could be fatigue.. maybe just the common brain fart.. I suggest finding a biofeedback tech with a scio device. They can track down causes better than an MD can with non invasive bioresonance testing. A good naturepath can also help you greatly.
