Nightmares come from the deep end of your mind. You must be a very worried person. Before bed, make sure that you fill your head with positive things. For example, watch a funny movie or show, talk on the phone with someone and such. This should help put good thoughts into your head before sleep.

Why does the sun come up every day? Alright some people have what is known as night terrors. Meaning that they have bad dreams that terrorize them in their sleep. Sometimes they say that it is whatever you ate before you go to bed or just you conscious working overtime. If it continues and bothers you that much I would go to see a Psychiatrist and see if he can help you out with something to help you sleep without having nightmares every night. Bye the way I am Bipolar and i suffer from the same problem and then I go into a panic attack when I wake up. It's no fun. Good Luck

There are many different reasons why people have nightmares.

1. They could be re-living something horrible that happened in their past.

2. They could be expressing their fears.

3. They are overly stressed out.

4. They feel rejected/outkasted from somebody they care about.

Thre are many ways to deal with nightmares:

1. Try doing something you really enjoy before going to bed,

2. Keep a journal of stressful situations and fears you may have.

3. Talk to a friend about them . Sometims you just need to talk about your dreams.

Junk food and caffeine before bed?

Are you stressed out at work or school or both?

Do you have anything lavender scented in your room?

The causes of nightmares can be plentiful. You probably just need to eat healthier and drink water. If the nightmares seem to have a "deep meaning" then you may want to see a psychologist if it continues.....

(note: a PsychOLOGIST - NOT a Psychiatrist - you don't need a prescription for a mind altering drug. You just need to talk about what's going on in your head.)

a doctor might want to examine you out and be particular there is not any longer some thing actual behind your nightmares. After doing a similar challenge for my own terrifying nightmares years in the past, I did a touch diagnosis and placed out that my "visions" in good structure tidily into the outline of "hypnagogic hallucinations," which ensue because the mind is halfway between the sleep-wake state and is why they're so brilliant. i'm no longer particular if that has similarities for your concern, yet because believe it or no longer the finest, maximum useful answer for me develop into in simple terms to modify my sleep position. I in elementary words have the hallucinations now if I sleep on my again. weird and wonderful, huh? worth a shot! good luck, and that i wish extra perfect nights are ahead.

Nightmares can mean that you're anxious about something, but they can also mean you have an overactive imagination. Sometimes it could just mean that the fear you experienced at a scary movie is sticking with you.

If you're having them nightly, it's very possible that you're stressed/anxious about something. Try to find ways to release tension about 2 hours before bed (exercise), and then find a way to calm your mind at bedtime (read a relaxing book, listen to relaxing music, meditate, etc.)

I've had anxiety dreams regularly for a large part of my life. These things help me - but everyone is different... good luck!

My bf swears that if you eat before bed you will get nightmares. I have nightmares as well but I know why I have them. You didn't really give enough info to answer your question but maybe try listening to a relaxing cd while you're in bed. Don't know if that will help but sometimes it helps me.

There is something you need to face instead of run away from. For me, it is a pair of midgets who chase me through a hotel hallway. I faced them and now they are gone. Try to think of something you are avoiding in your daily life. Face it, and the nightmares should stop.
