Eating and drinking are great signs. You might set him up with a humidifier, too, since you and your vet haven't figured out what it could be yet. Go out and get him some acidopholus (yogurt) treats, since antibiotics kill good bacteria, too, and yogurt contains extra good bacteria that will kill off yeast and other nasty organisms.

Keep him out of drafts. Give him his vitamins. Those are the best things other than hope you can add to the vet treatment. Two days isn't very long, anyway. After four, you'll probably see more.

I'd go with what EM has said. The fact your guy is eating is a wonderful sign! **throws confetti** Keep watching him. It could be the antibiotics are taking time to kick in or they're side effects. Yogurt treats don't have the bacteria needed to keep their gut happy. Active culture yogurt does. You can also buy the bacteria at a health food store or a pharmacy. Just ask for 'the good bacteria that is found in yogurt'. Most folks know what it is as the name is really long and hard to pronounce >.< . It starts with an 'A'. Feed part of the pill and keep it in the fridge. If you feed yogurt, feed less than a teaspoon once a day and watch for runny poop. You could mix it in with their seed or veggies.

Good luck. I still have my fingers and toes crossed!
