Go with one of the color strippers instead of peroxide. There are products you can buy in the grocery store in the hair color section that will strip color from your hair. It's the first step in a two step color process when you wnat to color your hair more than two shades lighter or darker than your natural color. Using the two step process is dangerous to your eyes so you'll need to be super careful, and you should be sure to keep your hair away from your eyes while it has product on it because the fumes alone will make your eyes feel like they are burning.

Bleach can't be used on hair or scalp or near your eyes because it can cause blindness if you get it in your eyes, and also it will not only burn your skin, but will be absorbed by your skin and will poison you. You would have to go to the emergency room for burn and poison treatment. If it wasn't rinsed out of your eyes immediately and flushed for 15 minutes straight, youi could be totally blind.

Peroxide causes your hair to be brittle and you'll have a lot of breakage, possibly down to the scalp from peroxide.

All of the above is why it is good to go to a professional hair colorist or salon for dramatic hair color changes. They have all the supplies to make sure you don't get product in your eyes, and will cover your hair while color is working so the fumes don't cause problems.

OMG! Dont put househould bleach in your hair!

Peroxide would work somewhat. It will make it orange tho, not blonde, it cant take out the color like hair bleach does.

Go to a beauty supply store and ask about different dyes. Some work better on hair that has not been stripped of color. If you are going to bleach it, get some professional grade developer and bleach powder, follow the directions and bleach your hair properly. Ask the ppl in the store, espically if they are someone with some wacky hair applications. Good luck and have fun!

Are you for real? You can't put house hold bleach on your hair, go to the store and get a bleaching kit, they are in the hair color isle, or you could go to somewhere like Sally Beauty Supply and get one, they are around 10 dollars there, more at the "regular" stores. Bleach out your bangs wait at least 24hrs. and then do whatever color your going for. Good Luck!

Do not put bleach on your hair. You can burn your scalp, get it in your eyes and burn them, and it will only take a second to burn your hair off. I'm not sure if peroxide is going to give you the results you want either, so go to a freakin' snip n' clip or cheap place and have them do the little strip you want to get done.

DO NOT BUT BLEACH ON YOUR HAIR! If will burn you and the fumes could make you go blind! Oh my god!

Never, ever put something on your hair that you would be afraid to taste. Good rule to live by.

Do not use household bleach!!! It can cause severe chemical burns to your skin, eyes, and respiratory system.

Household bleach, aka Clorox, is sodium hypochlorite.
