My mom's recipe, try it, it's really good. Add some mayonnaise, a can of tuna, about 1/3 of a can of olives chopped, some mustard, relish, celery seed, parsley, salt and pepper to taste, soooooo good!

Today I can't think of salad because it's blowing a gale. What I'd like is a nice hot dish of macaroni cheese! :) You could make a cheese sauce. to add to your macaroni. - ! pint milk, 6 ozs cheese and 2 rounded tablespoons flour (or cornflour)
Stir the flour into a little of the milk to blend to a smooth paste, grate cheese, put the rest of the milk on to boil and when it's boiled pour it onto the paste, pour it back into the pan when mixed smooth and add the grated cheese. Pour it into a dish, put slices of tomato around the edge and bake in a 350 oven for 20 minutes or until it starts to brown, yummy! Of course if you only have a handful of macaroni left this recipe could be too much.
This recipe is for 8 ozs (cooked weight) of macaroni.

I would make a pasta bake.
Just use your favourite pasta sauce with or without meat.
Beat about 4 to 6 eggs depending on how much pasta you are baking. Obviously if you have more than more eggs are required.
Mix all of the above together and put in a greased baking dish then top with your favourite cheeses and bake till the cheese is a golden colour.
Serve with a green salad or garlic bread or both.
So simple.

Macaroni salad (mayo, some mustard, little onion, celery, hard boiled egg & a few spices) or make a cold tuna salad (mayo, little onion, frozen peas/thawed, tuna, & a few spices) really good for a quick lunch.

Add to leftovers; chili (for chili/mac), tuna & cheese cass., mac & cheese, vegetable soup.

Or add any type of pasta sauce

You could 1. heat it up with red sauce and meatballs, sausage
or 2. heat it up with marinara or white sauce with seafood
or 3. make a standard macaroni , tuna peas, onion and
mayo salad
or 4. make a macaroni salad with mayo and crab meat
or 5. mix with Italian salad dressing and put in sliced black
olives , pimentos and chunks of cheese
or 6. heat up with olive oil , garlic and parmesan cheese.

Add some onion, green pepper, celery, sweet relish, and Mayo. You can put leftover macaroni in casserole. Like tuna fish casserole. Warm it up in microwave and add American cheese. After cheese is melded it's so good. Go one step farther and add some ketchup to it. It looks bad but tastes great.

You could toss it with tuna, garlic, and salad dressing, or chicken, red bell pepper, and salad dressing. Choose something like a poppy seed dressing which is kind of sweet to play off the stronger, more pungent flavors, like the peppers or onion. With chicken you could use shallots (which have a more delicate flavor). You could also add some canned black beans which go well with just about anything.

A quick, cold mac. salad I like to make is to take the left over noodles, add zesty Italian salad dressing, then some salad seasoning (I buy it at my loca dollar store...), or you can add oregano salt/powder or garlic salt/powder, and a touch of black pepper. Add parmesian cheese, mix well and enjoy.
