People in other parts of the world scratch their heads at how the US can find 200,000 troops to go and defend democracy or what ever they are doing overseas, yet cant defend it's own Southern Border. But there should be more news about the Koreans, and other Asians in Canada now sneaking into the US from here. I suspect there is a little racism here against the Mexicans.

I watched a documentary about this, and it is too easy for Mexicans and others to obtain fake documents and get work. It is illegal to hire an illegal immigrant. That should be enforced! Even the President of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce liked the idea of hiring illegals to build the fastest growing city in the US

What about the people trying desperately to get out of the US? There are thousands of them, all trying to reach a freer and more just country like Britain, Australia or Europe.

I would be surprised if the US has any net gain of people and may have a small loss, like most other Western countries, all of which have illegal immigrants and refugees.

This new phenomenon of illegals all over the World is not increasing populations but just redistributing them. A phenomenon I might add, born out of the inequalities created by capitalism, of which the US is its greatest champion.

I do agree that we should enforce the laws that we already have. I also think that we all need to see that this country was started by immigrants unless you're native american, which even then, they came from asia, so to all you ignorants, let's get real. An american is not your little whitey guy who swears he is a total american but when you check his background he has like 1/8 of every country in europe. to me, that's just a frieking mutt.
I do think that we need to control our borders, and not just from mexicans, because everybody seems to focus on the mexicans eventhough you don't realize that many asians land in mexico and then come through the arizona dessert and that every country south of mexico also ends up coming through mexico.
As far as taking our tax dollars, please, get real, i know alot of them and they actually are working with a fake social security numbers, but the fact is that their boss or employer actually still takes away a good chunk for "tax" purposes and for the "government", now whether it actually goes there or not, i don't know that, but they do pay. It's time that we all open our eyes and accept that most of us here, if not all of us, have a relative who came once as an immigrant, whether it be from ellis island in New York, or from the border in Mexico or from a frieking raft near Miami or a container in the Pacific ocean. This country is full of immigrants.

Of course its time. The LARGE majority of Americans think we should have a wall and enforce our laws. I think right around 50% of Hispanics also agree.
The Democrats want them here, hell they want them to vote. Why do you think they are fighting the proposed ID law. They think its a bad idea to have to show an ID to vote. What? I have to show my ID at Blockbuster, but you can vote without one?
They suppose most illegals will vote Democrat thats why they want them here.
Also many Republicans want the cheap labor and want the illegals here.
The USA is the only major country in the world without secure borders. Socialist/Communist groups who are for open borders use the "Racism" argument as to why we want a wall. BS!!!
The politicians need to do their jobs, they aren't looking out for us. There are a handful of Repubs, like Tom Tancredo from Colorado who are pushing for a wall. Vote out anybody opposed to a wall and the enforcement of our immigration rights.
Small minded and liars use the racism argument. Mexico is where the people are pouring in from. I don't want a kazillion illegal Europeans here either.
Lastly, if we give amnesty to the 12 million or so illegals, that number is really around 100 million or more. Because they will then be able to petition their relatives. Yeah, we need 100 million more people in our country in the next decade, creating more pollution, driving up the cost of gasoline, etc. We need to solve this problem now!!!

It is not all their fault. The government is doing nothing to help stop it and in doing so they are actually making it worse on us as it creates a rift between the supporters of immigration and the people against it when if they would just decide on what to do people would be pissed at the decision but we could get over it and move on. This issue needs to be put to rest and it is the governments job to do it.

Oh! for God's sake, how can anyone be so consumed by this topic of "illegal immigrants...who enter illegally"? (Of course, you don't seem to worry about the illegal immigrants who enter the country LEGALLY...why is that?) (Careful, it's a trick question...)
The "core of the USA" is being torn apart by the present administration, by politics in general, by greed, decadence, by a "me...me...me" attitude, by uncharitable, non-loving, violent, imbeciles.
Don't you have more important things to do than to worry about who may be in this country illegally????? How is your own "yard"? Done any good deeds lately? Given any money to charity? Helped a young African American child at a local school with his/her homework? Turned the other cheek?

The laws should have been enforced decades ago instead of letting it get out of control. Of course the laws arn't going to be enforced because that would cost too much time and money..

there are a number of people interior u.s. who're ravenous besides. might want to we accuse those contained in the country illegally of homicide when you consider that they're taking the nutrients that could want to shop incredibly electorate alive and execute the unlawful immigrants on that foundation? it would want to be those murderers that you seek for to excuse. contained in the interim, those slaves enslave others. That seems not likely to line up inspite of you interpretation of the passages... .

I think if you are doing something illegal you should be punished. How fair is it to choose which crimes you want to punish? The illegals are getting away with it because politicians want to win the respective ethnic vote. yet the illegals can't vote, and some are unwilling to even try to assimilate and become American citizens. Nevertheless, they want the health care, food and housing subsidies! I'm not castigating all illegals, but those who feel guilty, know whom I talking about.

Yep. Immigration laws should have ALWAYS been enforced. I am sorry that they ever became lax because I blame that laxness for the problem we have now.
