I'm 130 pounds, and I love my face so I don't want to change that. Also I'm not afraid to work hard or feel bad!

my dear...too be honest with you im 13, and skinny girls are NOT hot..i would honestly rather date a humoungous chick rather then a twig..if i give a skinny girl a hug ill end up crushing in her ribs..i dont like humoungous girls or real skinny girls as potential relationship material for me, i think some more in the middle, maybe a little bit on the bigger side is good, like say on a scale of 1-10 in size, 1 being anorexic and 10 being sumo, maybe a 6 or 6.5. Trust me though, skinny isnt hott!

At 11, you should still have a pediatrician, or at least a family doctor. The first thing you want to do, is ask your doctor what is your ideal weight for your body structure, and ask him/her what is a good diet and exercise plan for you. There is nothing wrong with dieting, as long as you understand that a diet is not a quick fix, it is a way of eating that you want to get yourself accustom to. Proper portions is the key to eating any food, even the stuff that is not good for us.
I am 29, and have been heavy all my life, but I got to a point where I was not happy anymore. I changed, not what I ate, but how much of it I ate. I stopped drinking soda, and drank water and juice.
I also started rollerblading and the weight dropped like crazy. I started out with only a short distance a night, then worked my way up to further and further till I was rollerblading approximately 2 1/2 miles a night. It took discipline, but it was worth it. I can proudly say that I went from 289lbs to 198lbs in a years time.
Remember do this for yourself, and keep focused on your goals. You will do great.
Good luck.

Just make sure that you are doing this for YOU and nobody else. I can't stand to see when young people lose weight to please others. If you are going to do it, it should be for your health. You also have to be careful, considering how young you are. If you really think that a diet is best, talk to your parents and doctor first and find out what diet (if any) would be best for you. Also, please do not get obsessed with this. People NEED a little meat on their bones. Anorexia and Bulimia are dangerous (this is coming from a person that was falling into the trap of anorexia, but luckily pulled myself back out before I got there). Make sure that you just don't completely give up eating. Instead of cutting what you eat per day in half, cut the portions in half. If you are eating small portions already, then just exercise. I suggest a mixture of small portions and exercise, but, like I said, talk to your doctor first.

Don't worry about dieting. Try to eat less sweets and more fruit and vegetables and exercise whether you play a sport or dance in your bedroom for about 30 - 45 minutes. Just focus on being healthy not about being skinny, your body is still changing and growing at your age so you don't want to diet and not get the nutrients your body needs.

Exercise or regular activity and eat sensibly- period. There's no big secret to staying in shape. It's just a matter of common sense. Unfortionately, Western Civilization (in particular the United States) is a lethargic society with horrible dietery habits. Oh- poor genetics kinda fangle you unfortionately. At 11-12 don't worry about it too much- just keep busy and don't eat crappy food. And don't compare yourself to your peers too much. At your age, everyone develops differently.
Keep in mind that modern media presents the image of overly "slender" as good with the anarexic look becoming popular among "celebrities".

i am skinny but want to be fat>
diet don,t work as every ones body is set for unchanged factors because of d.n.a.
I can eat anything all the time and not gain a pound.
think skinny in your mind and imagine being skinny.
maybe this may work as your mind does control your body.

DONT DIET! Just dont eat junk food! Trust me, it will help. I started "dieting" at your age and I got sooooo skinny, it was aweful! And I couldnt stop getting skinny because I was afraid of being fat! ANd you know what? When you are super skinny, it feels soooooo unfeminin because you lose your bum and boobs entirely. It is WAY better for us girls to be a bit "pudgy". I think its what nature intended!

To get in shape, just exercise daily--about 30 minutes a day. Eat enough so you're satisfied but not still hungry. Yeahhh. Hope that helped...

Your to young to train with weights. Let your body develop naturally. Try to play sports that involve running or biking. Watch what you eat and try to eat 5 balanced meals a day.
