No, only one of you should get your *** whipped. Somebody is got to help the wounded. But, if your partner gets into it and the both of you catch that beat down, everybody is gonna laugh at both of you. So, to save face, talk your partner into taking care of your light weight.
As a last resort, you may need to talk your way out of an *** whipping, something you should always be prepared to do.

NO!! That is stupid and ridiculous. He should drag you away screaming or whatever fit you are having; and apologize for you as you are stuffed into the car.
After about 6 years old, people don't "fight" with each other, unless there are some serious mental issues. Grow up!

No. He should try to stop you from making a fool of yourself or hurting someone that didn't deserve your very wrong reaction. He doesn't need to yell or belittle you but he should try to pull you away from the situation for a reality check.
Or maybe he should have left you there so he wouldn't be completely humiliated.

Adults should not be fighting unless your 10 years old.
Second, wrong is wrong - be an adult and admit you made a mistake.
Why drag some poor sap along to back you up.

To prove that they are loyal, yes. Just to prove your point in a fight, no. You should try fighting your own battles because it shows that you are indepentdent. They wont be around all the time to back you up. Forcing them to fight is just selfish.
