"photochop" a picture?

1. The term is "Photoshop." That is because the leading product for doing this kind of work is called "Photoshop."

2. Buy Photoshop or some similar product. I suspect that this isn't in your budget, so you might try www.download.com to see if they've got some freebie products that might work.

3. If you get good, hire yourself out to various political types, especially in a war zone. "Photoshopping" has become, unfortunately, very common, as we saw in the recent Israeli - Lebanese war.

I love the new term - Photochop.

Geek49203's answer is right, though. There's a real learning curve to getting this right, but buy Photoshop Elements 4.0 and the cost won't be too high. Study the manual and practice. You need to learn about Layers.
