Thats the best question I have read. I think that you are dead on as well. Because if they really are worried then they should have thought about it before they thought they maybe pregnant. I am pregnant and it was totally planned. If they arent ready to be pregnant they should not even be having sex.

I had sex with birthcontrol and still got pregnant. I asked that same question. I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD GET PREGNANT WITH B/C. What do you do when you have no one to confront and you just honestly want an answer? If you dont like those questions ignore them. Not eveyone is in a perfect position of going to a dr. or getting a test. BE a little less self concerned and think about other peopls situations.....

Well, some people have to make appointments and WAIT before they can finally go to a Dr. and get results. So they come here for support, until then. Some are teenage girls that are scared to go to the Doctor, lest their parents find out. Also, some women are trying to conceive, and are so anxious to know, that they don't want to wait another minute, so they ask here. Nobody is expecting anyone to be a Psychic, but Yahoo Answers is a forum where you are free to ask any question you want. If you don't like the question, then why don't you just not read it or respond to it, rather than calling people out like that? Every situation is different.

Yea, that's a nice ideal you've got there but, unfortunately we live in a world where young women especially young teenagers are sheltered from sex education. They get 'abstinence only' education and everyone even those who don't know the ins and outs of sex (punny!) know that abstinence only education is untrustworthy crap. Imagine how scared these young girls are that don't have a clue what's going on. I think it's our responsibility to answer their questions and direct them to resources so they can learn about their bodies and about pregnancy until those sex crazed right wingers stop banning sex education and parents stop trying to hide their 12 year olds from sex. We live in a world that 12 year olds are having sex and they've been having sex for ages. They need to know! Telling a young teen to 'go to the doctor' is not enough.
If you don't like those questions, don't answer them and stop being so hateful just because you may have got lucky and had sex education.

This has been an issue that has been being talked about a lot here recently. The bottom line is, it's young girls who are scared & Answers gives immediate answers to their questions, much quicker than trying to find a way to get a pg test past their parents. They just want reassurance and to hear others experiences.

Thank you for posting this, it's like we are suppose to be physic or something. They can find out just like everyone else that is normal finds out, go to the doctor and/or take a at home test. They should know what causes people to become pregnant, and if they don't want to become pregnant they shouldn't do it, or they should learn what birth control and condoms are!!!!!!!
