It seems strange to me that people condemn Christians because they believe homosexuality is wrong, that there is only one way to God, that evolution is false, and many other things. But they are not the only religion that believes this. Islam believes all those things too, so why is it ok to bash Christians, but if you say anything bad about a Muslim you are "intolerant"?

No, Muslims don't do that. They will just kill you if you do something against their religion (don't believe me? think I'm just being a hateful Christian? read the Koran). maybe that is why they don't go door to door with it.....

Personal experience says I have NEVER had any religious person other then Christians be "intolerant" to other people about their beliefs. They do not try to push their religion on me like so many Christians try to do. They do not insult me because I choose to NOT believe in god. So many Christians do. When people on here ask questions about "gays and lesbians" I see several Christians tell them they are going to hell, they are worthless, they should just kill their self now, they choose to be gay and so much more. I don't see other religions trying to control people who don't believe in their religion.
Think about this: How many different religions do you see respond by insulting gay people when several of those gay people are not Christians? How many religions do you know of that goes door to door with their religious talk? How many religions do you know that lack respect for others right to believe in what ever they want to? So many Christians think that everyone should have to live by their rules...therefor their bible don't like gay people so they think gay people should not have rights like marriage. If those gay people are not Christians why should they have to live by your bibles rules? BTW all religions get bashed and Christians do more then their fair share of bashing and insulting people just because people don't believe in god. So many christians think that the R&S section on here is for christians only and they are so wrong about that.

All religions get bashed. Everywhere... all the time. Bring up Wicca and see how people react. I guarantee there will be some who will bring up the worst possible image and it won't matter if it's false.

how many muslims to you see walking door to door with korans in hand trying to "spread the word of allah"

I attribute a lot of the flack that Christians receive to the fact that Jesus said that it would happen. In John 15: 18-20, Jesus said, " If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also."
And also, Christianity has been "non-threatening" since the time of the crusades. What I mean is that people have a fear of radical Islam, but not of radical Christianity.

I dunno, same thing about Jews. If you say something about the Jewish religion, you are accused of being "antiSemite".
But Semitism and Judaism aren't they same thing. You can convert to Judaism, but you can't become a Semite unless you are born one.
