This girl I know, lived there and she said it snowed . However, my aunt who has lived in Arizona from 30+ years says that is doesn't snow there. Another thing that gets me is our chior is going to Puerto Rico in March 2007 and she says she can't go because she doesn't have a "green card", but to my understanding if your parent is in the military and live on the military base then you are an American Citizen, no matter where you were born... So, she she lying??

But if your parents are U.S citizens and serve in the military you are considered citizen of the U.S no matter where they serve.

It doesn't snow there like you think of it snowing, but it has snowed there before. I have lived in Arizona since I was born, and I have seen it snow in the desert a few times. Also, people in the military aren't automatically citizens. She'd be taking a risk if she went to Puerto Rico. With all the problems going on about immigration, she better not risk it.

That is not correct. In order to be an American citizen, the parents have to file a report of birth abroad with the American consulate in the country where the child was born. It is not automatic. If this was not yet done, then your friend is not an American citizen.

You are not automatically a citizen if your in the military. I had a platoon sgt. who was not a citizen.
