I'm one of those people who actually likes to have assigned seating, that way, I can reserve a window seat ahead of time. As for my favorite airline, well, I guess I'd have to say Air Canada, because the service is great, the seat a pretty comfy, and anytime I flew Air Canada the arrival or departure was never delayed. As for airports, I really don't have a favorite airport, but if I had to chose, I would say Montreal, because it had a calming atmosphere.

Leaving Iguazu Falls in NE Argentina there was an airport cut into the jungle I liked (it may have been in Brazil as the river is the border w/ Argentina). We were waiting to board and the security consisted of 3 signs: a picture of a gun, bomb, and knife--each with a red circle around then and a diagonal red line through the picture meaning you shouldn't bring them on the plane. This was pre 9/11 by a ways obviously. Guess I'm pining for the old days.

Favorite airlines: American, Air New Zealand, Northwest and KLM.
Least favorite: United and Southwest.

Best airports: Washington National (DCA) -I fly there at least twice a month on average. Also Dallas (DFW) is pretty good for a hub airport, and Pittsburgh (PIT) and Charlotte (CLT) are also good airports to make connections. Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF) is a great place to make connections to elsewhere in Europe, and Hartford, CT (BDL) is a nice little airport as well. Worst airports: Washington-Dulles (IAD), Paris-Charles De Gaulle (CDG), Los Angeles (LAX) and San Juan, PR (SJU) are all no good.

Favourite Airline: QANTAS
They have excellent service, they serve good food and drinks and give you metal cuttlery to eat it with, even in economy class (on long haul international flights).

Favourite Airport: San Diego, California
Because it is a nice airport and more importantly is only a short, cheap busride from the downtown area.

Favorite Airport: PDX - it's the closest airport to my house, so when you land you can say "ah, it's good to be home."

Favorite Airline: Southwest - No assigned seating, a really great feature.
