MAC is the best. For those who say that Microsoft is damn famous.. I agree it is... But MAC doesnt need to become famous! MACcies will still stick onto a MAC. And moreover, MAC has reclaimed its life now! And MAC still is the BEST. If they thought that they weren't famous over the years, they would've not survived in today's competitive industry...

MAC Products are built with innovation and philosophy packed with style while Microsoft products are built with programs that can only trigger BSOD's and UNEXPECTED SYSTEM ERROR blah blah blah!!!!!!!!!

Apple's product line...including the iPod are top notch... MAC invented the first VGA Color Monitor.

MAC is stable, rugged, durable but expensive... But, you need to pay to get the quality! And I'm obsessed with quality ever since I had milk tooth!

And to those people who hate MAC over Microsoft, here's a little news for you... Did you know that MAC was the FIRST to design a GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE (GUI)... Where you work visually.. With Cursors, etc... Earlier, Microsoft had the DOS based stuff... COMMAND LINE INTERFACE...

And Microsoft... has just copied the GUI and have licensed it from MAC! LOL

Cheers...

Mac...hands down. For the first time today I had to call Apple for support. I was on hold for maybe 2 minutes and then I got a person who spoke the same language I do...English. I no longer have to power down constantly. I have no problems with it. I love my Mac. My next computer will be a Mac too. No doubt in my mind. People who say Microsoft know nothing about Macs.

When I called for support on my Dell, I got an Indian, who was clueless, gave me the wrong information. I took my computer to someone and paid them to fix it in spite of having the support contract on it. I got so sick of dealing with Indians who knew less then I did.

I'd say Microsoft because it's more famous and more people use it. Also you can change your computer's theme so it can look like I mac. also some software you can only put on Microsoft because I mac does not have some requirements that are needed to install the software.

presently you may set up homestead windows on an Intel based Mac in a twin-boot configuration. which potential you have the call of which gadget to run while the device starts off up. The utility needed is stated as "Boot Camp." right this moment, the technologies remains in "beta" meaning they're nonetheless sorting out it, yet I hear it works tremendously plenty many of the time. it truly is scheduled to be coated with the subsequent launch of the Mac OS. you will would desire to get carry of Boot Camp and you will additionally desire an entire version of homestead windows (no longer an improve reproduction) with the intention to place in it. good success in case you try it, yet you additionally can use the loose "OpenOffice" or Mac version of MS workplace which do no longer require homestead windows.

I'd have to say, Mac. Although I am pretty new to computers, I have used MS some. I like the Mac interface better and IMO it's easier to use.

Both crap!

They just want to sell their products and making them more rich..........

I go for open-source like ubuntu. Great and lots of support, No virus! No Worry!

"Ubuntu is a complete Linux-based operating system, freely available with both community and professional support. It is developed by a large community and we invite you to participate too!

The Ubuntu community is built on the ideas enshrined in the Ubuntu Philosophy: that software should be available free of charge, that software tools should be usable by people in their local language and despite any disabilities, and that people should have the freedom to customise and alter their software in whatever way they see fit.

These freedoms make Ubuntu fundamentally different from traditional proprietary software: not only are the tools you need available free of charge, you have the right to modify your software until it works the way you want it to.

Ubuntu is suitable for both desktop and server use. The current Ubuntu release supports PC (Intel x86), 64-bit PC (AMD64), UltraSPARC T1 (Sun Fire T1000 and T2000) and PowerPC (Apple iBook and Powerbook, G4 and G5) architectures.

Ubuntu includes more than 16,000 pieces of software, but the core desktop installation fits on a single CD. Ubuntu covers every standard desktop application from word processing and spreadsheet applications to web server software and programming tools. Read more about Ubuntu on the desktop and Ubuntu on the server."
