I wouldn't strip your hair...it's really bad for your hair...You could wash it a lot or you could go to Sally beauty supply and ask them for some advice...I think they have some lighteners

I'm not a beautician, but I have had this problem too. Try washing it with a clear shampoo that doesn't have a lot of conditioners, so it will take more of the dye at out. You might even try a little dish soap.Your idea of washing it a few times will probably lighten it. There's also dye remover available at most places that sell hair dye. I think I had tried some put out by Loreal before and had no problems. Good luck

You can wash it with a clarifying shampoo or even dish soap. These are both harsher on the hair than normal shampoos and will strip out the color quicker. Don't use the dish soap more than once though, as it will strip the good oils out of the hair too.

Of course, the best answer though is to go to a stylist.

U might have to wash for a couple of days. Can't wait that long get a dye spray that u can spray in hair and highlight where u want. This comes out when u brush it. Find at any Beauty Supply Stores and in any variety of shades. Good luck.

Hi meb..the color you used has peroxide..so it will prolly stay longer. SHampooing several times may take some of it out..but not much. only other option you could try...get some 20 volume cream peroxide ..mix with shampoo and suds up on head for about 10 minutes then shampoo...make sure not to get in eyes or clothes..it will lighten. GL .

do NOT strip ur hair, it will leave ur hair SOO messed up.
just put in some good, gentle shampoo like dove and leave it in for a
bit then wash it out, if it doesnt come out a lot try dish soap, but dish soap
is really harsh so dont go crazy wit it.

Strip your hair of color (basically, dye it white). Then dye it to a desired color.
