aparrently this guy decided that he liked me a lot for some reason and told his friend all about it, and she just happens to be one of my friends. I don't like him that way, I'm sorry but there is no attraction. I could've liked him as a freind but the way he acted kept freaking me out and i found it very hard to be around him. Now my friend seemed to think that I'd be happier if I had a boy-freind, which really is the last thing i want. (no offence to the guys, I like them-well some of them- and all, but i'm really not interested in a relationship with anyone) she get's a note from this guy to give to me and I didn't want to read it, because i knew what it would say, So she read it to me- It was gushing, and gross. She wanted me to date him, I DID NOT. She told him,(without my knowiledge) that I liked him. So he tried to take me somewhere to talk as 'boyfriend, girlfriend' I ended up telling him the truth and now he acts like i'm a horrible person, but is it worse then lying to him?

You did nothing wrong. You know want you want and you spoke the truth. He may be hurt now, but think how horrible of a person you really would have been had you lead him on. As I said, he's hurt and disappointed, give him a little time to get over being rejected and all will be "normal". I would however have a few choice words with your friend for leading the poor boy on.

No, your friend betrayed you. You were being honest, and I assume, kind. If she can't understand that what she did was very wrong, you need a new friend.

Your girlfriend is the villain. She should have listened to you. Now all you can do is let time heal all.
