My heart tells me i really like him but i know i shouldn't. The major flaws are bad such as beliefs, looks, some personality traits. But my heart keeps going to him and I can't stray away because it is so strong. There are many things i like also. I know this is not the guy i am going to marry so i ask myself why get into it when nothing is going to happen except for break up and i don't want to end a friendship.What should i do?

Sometimes we're drawn to partners who treat us not as well as they should because we felt ignored by our father (or for men, mother). It took me a long time to figure out why I only developed really strong attractions to men who wouldn't have me, and it's pretty much because my dad was aloof and sometimes very critical. I couldn't "catch" him either! Once I realized that, I had to deal with the feelings, then determinedly walk away from men who have bad habits or values, even if I feel like they're "hot." It's been hard, but I'm retraining myself to be attracted to the right men.
There's not a lot of sex in this approach, I must warn you. Should pay off in the end, though.

It sounds like you and this guy have a strong relationship as friends and why chance that if you know this is not the guy you want to marry sometimes are heads control our feelings when it should be our heart we are listening to . I would go ahead and pass on this dating relationship and just stay friends.

U just like him not love him. If u loved him you'd completely accept him 4 who he is and would see no flaws. Just move on, y get toghether when your not serious and possibly end up breaking his heart?

If you are going to enter a relationship, you should like everything that you know about the person. From the sounds of it, I think you should pass this one by.

If youre not interested in him for long term...as you say...you could be breaking his heart. Think of it that way. If either of you are in it just for momentary satisfaction because you just 'need' someone to hold...just remember...you may be missing out on someone you are better matched with. Good luck.

Well, make a list with a pros and cons and see which has more.. Maybe it is temporarily and mayeb it is lust that may you confuse with love
