I had braces so I feel for you. My parents ( when I had braces) bought a waterpik. I have one today and even without braces it gets food that my sonic toothbrush misses. You should get one of those toothbrushes that have different levels of bristles. Use your toothbrush as usual, then use above the braces and below. Stick the bristles between each space of teeth as you go around the upper teeth then do the same with the bottom teeth. Just a tip. Try not to eat or drink stuff that will stain your teeth, you'll have marks after you get your braces off that will have to be whitened if your stains are too noticeable.

After a brief even as, you're going to get in order that you fairly pick the sensation of unpolluted tooth, and you'll be able to stick with the brushing addiction. In drug retail outlets all over the place you'll be able to purchase a journey enamel brush that retail outlets within its hole manage, and really small tubes of enamel paste. What can cross mistaken if you do not brush after consuming? When the braces come off, you might see stripes of exceptional textures and hues for your tooth, certainly those that exhibit, as a result of the acid in trapped meals interacting along with your tooth. Cavities in atypical locations. Bad breath. I've noticeable folks with those issues and it is not lovely! Considering the 1000's of bucks being spent for your orthodontia, you fairly will have to do your aspect to ensure it is a entire good fortune.

Just apply the brush to your teeth with a moderate amount of pressure and WIGGLE it back and forth. Do this the same way you would clean the grout in the shower so you get down in all the nooks and crannies. If you try to scrub vigorously back and forth, the bristles will just jump over the parts that need cleaning.
Or get a Sonicare. They are GREAT for braces.

Your dentist or ortho should have given you a specially shaped toothbrush to use for while you have the braces on. Talk to the doc.

We recommend a sonicare or oral b sonic toothbrush for patients who have braces. They do a much better job than a manual toothbrush.

not really, but there is a brush you could ask your dentist about so you could brush between the metal wires.
