HOW MUCH HEROISM DOES IT TAKE TO WRITE WORKING PEOPLE UP FOR FALSE TICKETS, EAT DONUTS, AND KILL HANDCUFFED PEOPLE?

I believe a select few cops are heroes and have honor and integrity, but I believe the Police force in this country as a whole is become very corrupt and ignorant of the Law and it's true purpose and duty to Citizens of the U.S.

I do not understand your rant, but I agree with the lawlessness of ticket writing. There is a difference between legal and Constitutionally lawful. There must be "malice aforethought" and "criminal intent" for someone to be a criminal. How many times has a "pig" wrote someone up for 3 mph over the speed limit ? What about the fast changing traffic light ? There are cops who bother me worst than most other cops and they are detectives. It has been proven that detectives and prosecutors have perjured themselves often usually with the aide of an influential bureaucrat. What are the odds that fraud is presented in a court of law ? It depends on the defendants attorney, if the attorney is a p.d., well the liars move full force against the defendant and the p.d. in most cases simply wants a plea bargain anyway. Too many cases too little time. In 1996, FBI was involved with a crime lab scandal. In Houston Texas their crime lab was caught manufacturing evidence too some years ago. Perhaps a google search will reveal past cases of unlawful, legal authority.

I'm sure you would be wanting to hold your hand if you were in a horrible car crash and he was the first one on the scene. They often are you know. They make sure the driver and passengers are not hurt and keep the ones still that are. A cop on my street was in vice and got his face blown off when a drug deal went bad. He made a few buys first I guess and then things went sour. He's okay but, he will never look the same or act the same. A man was trapped in his car and it was a cop that went in after him and saved him. He was the first on the scene. He broke the windows and pulled him out. Where do you live where cops don't risk their live's? ????

Occasionally they are heroes, or at least the only people who we call when we are in danger, or have been robbed. Forget the tickets...it's just chicken feed and another form of taxes, but we don't want anymore nutty drivers than we have, so we need the cops to keep some semblance of order.

Well, when you risk your life and safety for someone else, let me know. Were your parents cousins that caused this stupidity in you? When was the last time you've seen a cop kill a handcuffed person?

From an EXPERIENCED point of view, the pay, pensions and life-long benefits completely blow away any false beliefs that peace officers do it for the 'good of the community' as the MAIN motivating factor in choosing this career. Larger dept's. have an exceptional compensation packet, and I have walked in those shoes.
Teachers are the REAL heroes. They have a very difficult job and NEVER get just pay unless they are employed by private schools.

Cops are like any other profession.
You have good cops and then you have
dirty bassssards.

The majority of Police Officers go beyond the call of duty in protecting and serving their communities.
People who waste time pizzzzing and moaning about cops are usually those who are "regulars" in the county jails.

You know what I find funny????
it's these same pizzzzers and moaners who pick up the phone and call 9-1-1 for the cops...when their brother in law is at the door with a gun --threatening to blow their sorry azzzzes away.

case closed !!

Whats the matter, upset over a speeding ticket? Police Officers are heros, without them, there would be nothing but anarchy and violent crimes. Whether you like it or not, they risk their lives everyday to protect people. They don't have to do it, but they do. They go to work every night unsure whether or not they will be returning home after their shift. The pay isn't good, but at least they are still willing to do their jobs despite the fact that there are people like you out there thinking that they are worthless.

Boo hoo! I'm a working "man!" I should be allowed to drive however I want to and the mean ole policeman shouldn't give me a ticket! That's not fair! Boo hoo! You know if what you are saying is true, how come they didn't handcuff and kill you? Didn't they realize what a public service that would be? So, either you're lying (NO?!) or your just a sad pathetic excuse for a human being.

Try a ride along some day and see what an officer goes thru. Watch them as they deal with the mentally challenged, the hurt and the sick. You will gain an appreciation of what really goes on.
