Well..
I believe when we can't go any further for God, He puts us together with a perfect partner that will help us serve Him even more.
Right now I want to serve God as much as possible in my single life, and when I can go no further in growth, He will bring along that perfect guy for me :)

It also says in the Bible that it's not good for a man to be alone, (Genesis 2:18) and such. It's not like He's against marriage, He created it ;)
But I believe while we are single we should make the best of it in serving God as much as possible right now.
It also says, "Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart." Psalms 37:3,4
"And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:13,14
Buuuuuuuut
"You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." James 4:3

There are more verses on receiving things out of faith and such.
So, as well as serving Him to my fullest, I also stand in faith that when I'm ready He will give me the desire of my heart, which is a husband to love me and strengthen me.

Getting married or not is a choice of a man. If we are single, we will devote time to GOD but if we get married he will not hate us. Just to answer, If God wanted man to be single then he would not have given eve to adam.
As for the person who says people called paul a homosexual , how could the same man have said there is no place in the kingdom of GOD for sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers ....
People dont know God nor His Word.

Actually, Paul said the same thing. I'm not sure of the verse and chapter, but he said that when a man marries, his thoughts are always on his family, not on God.

But since Paul never married (some said he was a homosexual, which was his "thorn in the side" that he spoke of), I guess he couldn't really see it from the perspective of us old married folk lol. And that is that marriage is part of God's purpose for us.

Nope. Only if a person is born a celibate and should follow Christ would they be able to devote more time to God. Paul was addressing the time they were presently in when he said it would be better to remain single. He was not setting a church residence, he was speaking of himself.

In fact the bible says, 1Timothy 4:1: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2: Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3: Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Notice the forbidding to marry part, that comes from hypocrites who gave heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.

Some do have a calling to be celibate,because sexual energy in some cases is transmuted into spiritual energy that is used for baptiism with spirit and with fire,one should not play with this energy without a true calling. hinduism calls this energy shaktipat.go to the web find "SWAMI MUKTANANDA PARAMAHAMSA" his synopsis explains some of this.
