It is a prescription non-opioid analgesic initially was dispensed by office based physicians. I was a predominantly used medication from 1981-1985.

If memory serves it has another brand name - Allevex.

Valacet is a medication taken for menstrual cramps or arthritis . It is used as a pain reliever. These medications inhibit coagulation and can cause excessive bleeding during surgery, it is very similar to aspirin.
