that's a rather sexist question. yes, i think more girls enjoy cooking thatn boys, but anyone who watches the food network knows that all but one of the Iron Chefs are men. And when people talk about the food network, they talk about Alton Brown, Emiril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali, Bobby Flay, all famous MEN chefs. the only women chefs that people talk alot about are Paula Dean and Rachel Ray. I don't really think gender affects your ability to cook, but it might affect if you even try to cook.

Some boys can cook better than some girls and some girls can cook better than some boys. There is no sex advantage. Anyone can learn to cook.

In the big picture, let's face it, it's the women that are indoctrinated with the "homemaker mindset" at a very young age, which would of course include cooking. As far as "better" goes, I guess that's a matter of opinion and what you mean by "better." Most world-renowned chefs are men, although there are women chefs too, of course. But when I think of first-class chefs, names like Wolfgang Puck and or shows like Yan Can Cook come to mind. I don't watch a lot of Hell's Kitchen, but I would point out that the head honcho is, again, a male. But for your everyday repast, I would choose a woman any day.

I used to date a chef. He was an awesome cook. I lost a lot of weight when we broke up.

While my Mom did all of the cooking while we were growing up, I later found out my Dad is an awesome and creative cook.

My boyfriend tells me I am a great cook. My potluck dishes have never, ever been turned down!

I don't think you can generalize on this topic. But in my own opinion, I think by nature more woman know how to cook better than men, only cause their mothers are more likely to teach them than their sons. This is not to say men can't learn on their own or go to cooking school. But girls are more inclined to cook as men are to watch sports or fix cars.

It depends on the boy and the girl. If you mean in general, then I doubt that such a question can be answered. cooking skill depends a great deal on the taste and culture of the judge.

I thinks its 50/50 theres some excellent male chefs and just excellent female chefs. Think it depends what your cooking my partner can only cook beans on toast I do all the cooking
