You can only get Salmonella if you eat an egg that is (1) infected, and (2) undercooked. I would imagine the risk is higher with a fried egg than with a scrambled egg, since the yolk can still be a bit runny when folks eat them. (runny yolk/white=undercooked)

Even if you have an egg that has Salmonella, you many not get sick if it's properly handled: keeping the egg refrigerated will keep the present bacteria from growing higher in numbers, and cooking reduces the number of bacteria present. The more bacteria present when you eat it, the more sick you'll become...the less bacteria, the less sick you'll become. In fact...you may not even get sick at all.

Just treat all eggs with the same precautions...because you'll never know when you'll get "a bad egg!"

Not if cooked until they,re not still runny. And besides, only 1 in 20,000 eggs have salmonella. And, that's only a concern to the very young, the very old, or those with compromised immune systems. So relax and enjoy the cackle fruit!

You probably could get salmonella from fried/scrambled eggs, but it is extremely rare.

Go Vegetarian.
