They have the right to order you from your car and "pat" you down in an attempt to see if you are concealing weapons. This is call a "Terry frisk." If, during the pat down they feel something which may be used as a weapon, or is obviously illegal in nature, they can retrieve it from your pockets.

Yes he can order you out of the car. He can then search you for his safety. If he finds and can identify a suspicious substance, your toast.

If they have probable cause. For that matter they can make up something that "led them to believe" that someone had drugs. They can ask permission, if you refuse they can detain you until the K9 unit shows up. (could be hours). They usually support the probable cause thing with something like "we smelled pot smoke, alcohol, the suspect was behaving oddly. things like that.

If they have probable cause. They can ask you if you would submit to a search, but you have the right to refuse.

If they have reasonable cause, then yes. This gray area of "reasonable cause" is left to the discretion of the officer, and has sometimes been abused.

it doesnt matter about rights, they will do it anyway. if you or your car fit a certain profile, you can pretty much count on being searched.
