The Australians have a snack that's made with cheese and bacon. They look like cookies, and they might even be called, cheese cookies, but in American terms, they're not cookies. Sure are delicious, though!
Also:
Anzac Biscuits (Cookies)
Categories: Cookies
Yield: 1 servings
3/4 c Fine sugar
1 ts Treacle (golden corn syrup)
1/4 lb Butter
1 ts Baking soda
3/4 c Coconut, flaked
1 c Oatmeal
3/4 c Plain flour
2 tb Boiling water
ANZAC day is celebrated in Australia on April 25. On this day in
1915, the ANZACs (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) landed at
Gallipoli, and suffered the worst defeat in Australian military
history. The fallen soldiers of all wars are now commemorated on
ANZAC day. Another cookbook stated that these cookies were sold to
raise money to help returned veterans.
In saucepan place butter, treacle, soda, sugar and mix with boiling
water. Bring slowly to boil, remove and add dry ingredients. Mix
well. Place spoonfuls about 3 inches apart on well greased cookie
tray. Bake at 275F about 25 min.

Get a bunch of celery, rinse it and slice it.
Take peanut butter for dip.
Add raisins, if you want to be fancy about it.
Trail mix is breakfast cereal, raisins, peanuts or cashews or pistachios, M&Ms, chopped dried apricots, banana chips, sunflower seeds, etc...
Here is a recipe:
"In a bowl combine 1/4 cup of any 8 of the following items:
Unsalted nuts, peanuts, cashews, or almonds
Sunflower seeds
Dried cranberries
Dried cherries
Dried apricots
Raisins
Mini chocolate chips
Mini pretzels
Multi grain Cheerios
Whole wheat Chex cereal
Granola"

I need more info, please. The whole class?? For the whole week?? That's a big responsibility! Does the snack need to be prepared ahead of time?
How about Chex Mix, Cheese and crackers. Are there peanut allergies? If not, how about pretzel sticks dipped in peanut butter? Or carrot sticks and apple slices.

My turn in in a few days and I plan on bringing tangerines and apples. It's for 25 kids. My son said one mom brought in chopped veggies and dip and the kids frowned on them. Just make it plain and easy for them! :D

One thing you should probably do is find out if any children have allergies. You would be surprised how many kids are allergic to nuts and such.
