YA KNOW, I'M REALLY PISSED OFF BECAUSE SOMEONE GAVE ME A THUMBS DOWN HERE. i was open and honest and didn't insult or bash anyone. fyi, my mother died of cancer as well, and yes, i was her only caregiver, while having to care for my dad who also has cancer and alzheimer's and has suffered multiple strokes. my mother-in-law also died of cancer, both of them within three months of each other. i literally WATCHED my mother die, while i held her in my arms. she died on my daughter's birthday. my husband now has cancer. this all happened within the last 15 months. you tell me. is just simply CRYING when i need to going to make things all better???!!! i can't talk to my husband about this, since he's GOING THROUGH IT!! DUH!!! hell yeah, counseling would help me. i KNOW it would. i just cannot afford to go. thumbs down? wtf-ever. try living in my shoes for awhile. peace.

I just lost my dad and I don't see anyone. I don't believe a stanger that knows nothing about me and the relationship I had with my dad can help heal the pain in my heart. You can not learn how to help people by study on it. You need to believe that in due time, God will feel the void that's in your heart.
Cry everyday if you need to. Can't anyone tell you how to be happy because you will always miss that person. A shrink helps you cover the problem.
Just pray on it. Its hard and it will be hard, but you be strong.
If anything talk to someone that have experience the same thing because a person never knows what it feels like unless they have went through it themselves.
Ever need to just vent email me!!

The best shrink to see is a friend.

I saw a shrink after my last relationship. We broke up and seeking help was the best thing I could have done. Highly recommend it.

No I didn't..Its been a year and it has gotten better to the point where I don't cry anymore.
It was my mom and she died of cancer over a year ago but it was especially hard because I in hom cared for her until the day she died.
I probably should of gotten help but I didn't...I just cried when I needed too and kept moving because she would of wanted me too.

I have seen one but not due to a loss. I was going through a bad break up and couldn't handle it. They help you to think more clearly and understand why you feel the way you do. There is no shame in it, I think everyone should see one.
