If u don't like someone, and that someone pushes ur buttons, like a annoying and immature colleague or a roomate.


1) How can you not let the ppl. that u don't like, their behaviours, or the hatred that u have for these ppl. ruin your day?

2) How can you control your emotion, so that even if someone that u don't like/hate, does something to annoy u, u can still keep your cool, and not get into a fight

3) Is fighting ever necessary? or all it does is leave bruises and regrets for stupidity and immaturity?

1) You have to find something that works for you to make the situation funny or at least amusing to you ...in your mind. Like picturing that person you don't like walking down the hall way naked.

2) Count to 10 very slowly before you open your mouth to comment. Or if they ask you a charged question and your answer isn't going to be nice and you know it...just say...I'll have to get back to you on that. Or " I don't have an answer for you right now, let me think about it"

3) Don't EVER start a fist fight, just finish it. You only have the regrets if you start the fight. Having said that, I do believe one can most always find ways to avoid physical fighting. Like walking away or trying to discuss the situation. Sometimes it is unavoidable and you may have to come to blows. If that happens , make sure you leave him unable to stand up. Just my take on it! Take them taters!!!!! lol

The only time fighting is necessary is when someone physically attacks you. You must have control of your emotions. One of the ways of doing this, is keeping yourself out of situations that provoke you.

You cannot change the world and remeber you only have control of yourself. That's it. Don't like the world, move to a different one.

Any ill will or feelings you harbor within yourself will eventually have an effect on your body...in one way or another. I do believe that stress has a great deal to do with a person's health, and if you have trouble letting go of anger, may I suggest seeking help with that? I have severe ulcerative colitis that I know is a result of a stressful marriage. I have to take a very strong drug (immunosuppressant) for the rest of my life in order to keep it under control. My family members have also experienced a lot of stress, and I think the history of cancer in our family is also in part a result of that stress.

1) know that you are of a superior quality, and as inferiors they cannot help being that way.

2) same as #1

3) if physical,only fight to protect yourself.
if its verbal, it is 99% a waste of your time. Good for venting, but resolution seldom follows if you get too personal. people do not change their habits through arguments. you cant argue your position until you die and people will still remain the same.

best to know when to cut your losses, and either ignore it or if you need to fight (verbally) keep it concise and devoid of personal attacks by focusing on the issue at hand, not last weeks problem.

If you need to apologize, then do. I find it best to avoid confrontation if i think my feelings are too intense.....just walk away and face it when you feel you have control over your emotions
