People are blind Alberto. Americans are so apathetic they do not know what is going on. Then when some one tells them they are doing something bad, they get angry. Americans are always right and can never do any harm. Apathy: It's the American way.

I don’t see the Minutemen mentioned in your article at all. All though I do not personally agree with the way the ranchers chose to handle the situation, they do have the right to protect their property and keep if free of trespassers. If the illegal immigrants would stop coming over and trespassing on private property, they could make this concern go away. Lets see if they will stay home.

For anyones information, the Minutemen Project, if this is the Minutemen he is refering to, for there are a number of organizations using Minutemen name, are comprised of volunteers of various races, including legal immigrants that watch the border only and report any activity to the Border Patrol. When members of the Minutemen Project are giving speeches or holding rallies, haven't anyone noticed that they are attacked by the other parties sometimes physically. I haven't seen one Minutemen member attack anyone and especially physically.
There are approximately between 20 to 30 MILLION illegal immigrants in the U.S. Some people call them undocumented workers. But when a law is broken do we not call it illegal, so thats my point. We are a nation of immigrants, a melting pot of LEGAL immigrants.
While our government does nothing to support our immigration laws or 1/2 heartedly, I say there is a need for the Minutemen Project to help keep illegal drugs, munitions, and employment slavery out of our country UNTIL OUR GOVERNMENT CAN. There are people losing their lives coming here illegally through the desert. It is our responsibilty to keep this from happening and lobby for their country to reform to provide for their citizens. Not us giving them tax refunds, and using our welfare and hospitals that most don't pay for. There are hositals closing because of this about every month or every other. Please be humane help the illegals by not letting them in our country and hope they will have the courage to change their to their liking and not ours.

Your link is too old. Those were the days that citizens are in desperate need of protecting their property. Minutemen have put the issue as matter of national emergency. Their efforts have catapulted the government to send National Guards and more Border Patrol at the border and spending a monumental amount of federal money to build more walls.

Why do idiots ask questions when they already "know" the answer?
Thinking that the Minutemen are doing the right thing against CRIMINALS is not racist. Being against ILLEGAL immigrantion is not racist. Being against immigration beacuse we have too many of whatever based on skin color IS racist.
It is absolutely possible to be for the Minutemen and against illegal immigration and NOT be a racist.
One could make the argument that anyone shot by ranchers is a person entering his home illegally. I doubt it would stand up in court. But, the federal government is not doing anything about the problem. Many rich people live on the back of illegal immigrants who have limited rights.
Who should deserve your derision? The people who want the laws of the US enforced, or the people who use others for their financial gain?

The "Racist Americans" would not have to hear about the Minutemen protecting our country if not for the ILLEGAL crossings of our boarders.
It has nothing to do with race. The people crossing are breaking the law. It doesn't matter if they are seeking a better life, fleeing corrupt government or just wanting a Big Mac. They are ILLEGAL. By definition they are law breakers. They should not be here.
Anyone who wants to come into this country legally is more than welcome. Get in line and come on in.
This is not immigration. It is an invasion!

"newspaper" with that name could be just a little slanted? Besides, in the whole "article" I did not see a reference to Minutemen - only to vigilantes and white supremacists. No, I do not consider my self naive, to answer your question. I know bad things happen everywhere and that everyone is capable of doing bad things. Although, I also think that sneaking in to a county ILLEGALLY is wrong - granted that does not give anyone the right to kill the illegal immigrant but why do these people continue to take chances? They know that these vigilantes are out there and yet they just keep coming...

I don't agree with militias that are non-governmental armed groups patrolling the borders, moreover, not all Americans are racists. Some Americans-like my ethnic group-fought side by side with racists for hundreds of years and weren't recognized as full citizens until 1865 on the law books; in truth most couldn't vote until the 1950's and 60's. So you're ignorant of American history, and if it weren't for the blood and tears shed for this country in the past, you wouldn't be able to "anchor baby."

I skimmed over it, did not see where it mentioned Minute-Men at all in it (but I might of missed it). I did pick up on the phrase "anti-Mexican racists" and yet again I need to say " MEXICAN IS NOT A RACE ", do any of you pro-illegals know what the difference is, have any of you ever even meet a Hispanic person ?
Yes, their are individuals that will take out violence against illegal immigrants, but this is not condoned by the Minute-men. Mexico has people on their side that will also take go to violent extremes against illegals, but that is their boarder patrol.

And the mexicans trying to sneak illegally into the US are not criminals by your definition, I presume? Everything I have heard or seen about the Minutemen says they are unarmed, which I think is unfair since many of the illegals come with guns.
And that pro-illegal rag you cite is not exactly unbiased reporting.
By the way, numnuts, wanting to protect your country against an invasion of criminals is NOT racist by any definition.
