did you used to "spin drink" haha?? get whatever you were drinking and spin when you were drinking it? stand and spin round and round till you were fcuked? ?? did you use to get older folk to buy it for you?? and do you now refuse to buy youngsters drink coz of what a fcuk up you were when you were younger and don`t want them to be like you?? what would you do if you`re kids turn ou like that?? would you understand or dicipline???? xx

i would understand coz i did it when i was young but would have to punish them 2 try and stop it happening again coz i want better for my kids

I drank to get drunk as well and I've been an alcoholic probably from my late teens.I still struggle occasionally and would love to tbe able to drink just a few but what's the point of drinking without the end result.I am 42 now but don't worry I haven't had a drink for a while and I'm harmless when drunk.My youngest who is 5 has never seen me drunk and the eldest 12 doesn't remember seeing me drunk.My step kids on the other hand who are older think I'm crazy anyway but love it if we have a drink and are now old enough to understand why it's so hard for me to stop and have at least once seen the consequences of when I carried on drinking.It would have been hypocritical of me to stop them drinking so it was preferred that they drank in the openness of our home rather than in the open in a park somewhere.There is still this attitude of I can drink more than you and the acceptable alcohol level in drinks is a lot higher with spirits more popular with younger people.so when the two 20 odd year old girls go out its not them I worry about it's everyone else and the next day they know I understand and come round to tell us what they got up to and generally how bad they feel.then there's the 17 year old lad who got caught by the police with a half drunk bottle of vodka and was sent home he was so sick he's been too embarrassed to drink since. so I understand and also give them the credit to use their own self discipline and common sense, and then to take the piss when they're Hungover.
