i was absent from school on friday, and the girl i like is only in 1 class with me. in that class, i was told that i missed notes and have to make them up. i was thinking i could ask her for the notes, then when i give them back to her ask her to wait for me by her locker at the end of the day so we can walk out together. this will be the first time we speak to each other, so is this too weird or is this good? i will be friends with her first, not just immediately ask her out, also.

Ok. Asking for the notes is fine. BUT!!! Don't ask her to walk out with you. Casually "bump" into her and say something like "Thanks for those note!" "You are a life saver!" But dont make it sound geeky or something. Ask about some thing like music or movies. Spike her interest. But don't get onto a subject that you have no clue about. Chances are that the one subject you dont know about she will know EVERYTHING about so keep it clear from that. And if you need anymore help you can e-mail me at sexysky18@yahoo.com

Sounds good to me! I like how you're thinking this through and easing up to whatever might happen next. Relationships take time, and they always have to start at friendship anyway, right? Just relax and be yourself when you're walking together. Best of luck!

talk about sports, after school activities, just keep talking about her, asking her questions: where do you live? do you have any siblings/pets? what teachers do you have? whats your favorite subject? why? what do you want to be when you grow up? etc
