Some people want to hide our identity and we don't want to see our faces being manipulated on nude bodies or other animal bodies.

Why are you making silly assumptions? People have different reasons, & truth be told it's none of your business. Let's see--hmmm--maybe yours is on because you're conceited? Need some attention vicariously? Nonsense. AND. If you've got a bit of wit, you can judge the age range from the questions if you really want to respond intelligently. (Ha) I'm giving Violet Pearl a thumbs up--great sense of humour. (No, I didn't misspell.) If I ever had the time for the trouble, I'd put on a drawing of my cat. You see, I AM A FAMOUS ARTIST IN HIDING & EVERYONE WOULD TRY TO FIND ME & I CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE COMMISSIONS I ALREADY HAVE! There now. Did I forget your question?

Good question. I don't believe it has anything to do with being handsome or pretty. I think it has more to do with the world situation at this point in time. Seems like most people had rather just remain invisible to prevent any type of retaliation from some nut case.
I see your point tho. Pops

great question...I have no idea.. The internet is an impersonal way of communicating and people tend to like that. They can say what they want, act like they want.. Prented to be a someone else and no one would know. Just speculating. If you are an overweight male and feel you are ugly and suppose you wished you had blonde hair, you can make a pic of a skinny male with blone hair..hmmm....apparently I do have an idea.

I feel ya. I ike using my real pic too. Maybe people us them (avatars) as masks to hide behind so they can feel free to ask questions that are more personal without feeling vulnerable.

Cus we can get really silly behind silly faces with a supreme sense of false insecurity. Like the way I just did by tossing a piece of chocolate into the fire place.

I like my avatar, and not ashamed of my looks, just don't want to have to go in search of a photo I'd post here, and since a photo isn't required I'm not going to post one. It's called "choice".

I don't know how to put a picture on here. I don't know how to put one of those cartoon like pictures on like most people have. I think people just want others not to know them because then they can't answer honestly or ask questions in case people think they are weird.

As for me, well I'm a very attractive woman. If I showed my photo, men would go crazy with love and lust and message me and I'd have to break their hearts because I'm happily married. So really, it's for the protection of the men. ;-) It's the least I can do.

I'm not ashamed of what I look like. Unfortunately I'm mildly technologically inept. If I knew how to put a pic up, I would! So, how'd ya do it?
