lieing just shows that people don't have enough self esteem to be able to tell the truth and back themselves and their actions.
honesty is always the best policy and if we were all honest then the world would be a much better place. instead of hiding behind lies and covering up, we could fix any problems quicker and spend more time enjoying life instead of fighting the bullshite that seems to constantly come out of some people's mouths.

Its definitely better to be open and honest! The truth may hurt, but typically you earn more respect and trust from the people around you. I always told my son growing up, Tell me the truth and you may get into trouble, but you lie, and you'll be in even more trouble. To this day, my son is {almost} always brutally honest. Sometimes to honest. But, at least he is upfront and not back-stabbing.

Honesty is the best policy as they say. Think about it. Would you want to find out that someone has been lying to you? Even if it is a small lie? If you are throwing a party for someone and want it to be a surprise, than it is OK to "bend the truth", to keep it a surprise. Other than that, the truth is the best thing.

If an alcoholic tells you they have been sober for a 300 and sixty 5 days....are they nonetheless an alcoholic? as quickly as a liar...continuously a liar. somebody that has lied could in no way tell yet another as long as they stay.....yet as long as they have lied until now, they seem to be a liar.

It depends on your situation. Better to lie if you want to protect somebody who cant accept the truth. And it is also better to be open and honest in any situation to free you from any guilt and to prevent problems and trouble in the future.

It is never better to be dishonest than honest. You'll only end up hurting people you care about. You should ask yourself, if this question is truly about you, why do you feel the need to lie?
