you can run two or more versions of yahoo messenger independently, this means you launch one version via the Yahoo icon as you normally would and login an ID, then you return back to the Yahoo icon, and single/double click to launch another instance of Yahoo Messenger which you can us to login another default ID.
Version 8 supports this easily with a registry change, prior versions will require a new/modified version of the main exe file.

I personally use Trillian. It's free and you can use it for ICQ, IRC, AIM, Yahoo!, and MSN. You can look it up at download.com. You can also add several names to each messenger plugin, so you can have several accounts on any of the chat services signed in at once.

you could always run a reg. yahoo messanger and then launch the web messenger under a different ID

no idea why you would need 2 different id at the same time but ,you need 2 different pcs. set up one on a router the other on a card and then you have what your looking for.

Yahoo IM & MSM Messenger are now compatable, so you should be able to use both in separate windows

Buy another spare computer! I think you can also run two ids if you log into one through explorer and the other trough firefox.
