Does the Mohamed really advocate violence? did Christ/Buddha/Krishna?

I can only tell you that Buddha 100% for sure did not advocate violence. On the contrary, compassion not only for all human beings but for all sensitive beings (i.e. also animals)... Buddhism has never been used to justify any war, terrorist attack, killing or crusade.

as for Mohammed and Jesus Christ... I would say their message sadly enough has been some times used to justify violence.

Krishna... I have no idea to be honest.

No Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) did not use voilence. Nor did christ or budda i dont think. And i dont know about Krishna.

The reason so many things go on about the Muslim Prophet being voilent is because there is a new type of Islam that has come out, which is not really "Islam". It is just a bunch of people who dont really know about Islam, but just want to target their hate on others for their own comfort "needs".

No prophet , or Christ or anyone use voilence to do anything.

None of these religious founders ever advocated violence. Prophet Muhammad only allowed war for self defence. Likewise the other founders. If you want a real perspective on religion, go read the Karen Armstrong books. A History of God, talks about the monotheistic religions and Mohammad is related to Islam. Karen Armstrong is an atheist, and former nun, who writes a very fair description of all religions. I don't know much about other religions. I did do a report on Islam in 8th grade, but that was 3 years ago. From what I remember he does say to destroy anyone who doesn't believe in Mohamed. I

I am a Christian. And i can completely honestly tell you that Jesus Christ never said to start violence. In fact he said that if someone strikes you on one cheek to turn and let him strike the other also.

Seriously...

Go out and buy the book, "The End of Faith" by Sam Harris. In that book he critiques peoples beliefs in general but there is a HUGE section with direct quotes from the Koran showing just how bad it is.

It's actually a really great book. It shows how beliefs shape our actions. As an example... You might think it's a great idea to suicide bomb a populated area killing innocent people if you firmly believe you will be rewarded by God in the afterlife for doing so.

Prophet Muhammad fought in wars only for self defense.
Idol worshippers were furious and sought to Murder Muhammad
when he began to preach that it was wrong to worship idols.
If the first Jews, Christians, and Muslims, didn't defend themselves against the Pagans and other groups they would have been killed off and the their religions would have vanished. They would not have been able to establish themselves. In Islam, you can not fight unless it is a act of self defense. The Pagans, when the Three major religions were being establish were very furious and sought to kill the Jews, Chri... Remember the Pagans were making money off of the idols. If people didn't fight back against oppression, aggression would win out. Like what is happening in Dafur. When the people began defending themselves, the murders won't be able to continue.
Religion is based on survival, its evolution, the survivial of the fitest. That's why the U.S. convicts Murders, because without Law and Order they would be violent anarchy. But Islam teaches that after peace is established, Muslims must continue to maintain the peace. The Sucide bombers and the crusaders are/were not following religion or don't/didn't try to interpret the revelations correctly or have the desire.

[4:90] Exempted are those who join people with whom you have signed a peace treaty, and those who come to you wishing not to fight you, nor fight their relatives. Had GOD willed, He could have permitted them to fight against you. Therefore, if they leave you alone, refrain from fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you **no excuse to fight them***.

After the Muslims fought the Idol Worshipper during the Prophets time, Medina and Mecca were very peaceful. Think of it as if a group within the U.S. was trying to overthrow the U.S. government. In Mecca the Muslims, Christians, and Jews were living in peace. Remember before Prophethood Mecca was barbaric, they were stoning people for lax reasons and burying babies alive. It was horrible. They were the most babrbaric people on Earth at that time. If a group within the U.S. starting trying to murder government officals, wouldn't the U.S. troppers and secruity kill them? Yes, becasue if we didn't, other people would try to do the same thing. That's the same thing with other countries. Self defense and severve retritubution is essential in survivial. Without it, a lot of countries would have at it at destroying the U.S..
