Here's an idea - how about proposing marriage? That would let her know you're serious about the relationship and would be good for the child.

Have you ever propose to marry her? Could it be that's the reason you're having a hard time getting what you want. A woman needs to have an assurance and a committment to have a long lasting relationship. Just see to it that you know how to keep a promise.

If you really love her you may have to wait. From the way you worded the question I get the impression that you may have cheated on her? (I apologise if I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion). If that is the case then she's bound to have reservations about trusting you. You'll have to just take things slow and earn her trust - remember she's gonna be worried about your child getting mixed messages too - (mummy n daddy are together one minute n not the next) she wants to be sure about you.
Hope it works out

I think you should give her time you cant rush these things. If you truly want her back then just be there for her and don't push it. The more you push it, the more she may want to wait. You say you want to be her "daddy" that may be the problem because she already has one of those. What she needs is for you to be a father to the child and a man to her. That's something you should think about.

Tell her she needs to make a proper home with a husband and wife parenting the kids. It's not just about her feelings, it's about stepping up to the plate and providing a stable, loving, calm 2-parent home.
Get married, too!

Take baby steps to work trust into your estranged relationship. Work on yourself, getting a house, home in order for her to come to. Be the man, show her that you are. Make frequent visits and communicate with honesty and kindness to her and your child. Peace.

Be there for her as you romised you will be from now, but give her space, let her learn to trust you again. Don't rush or you might loose her forever. What did you do anyway???

You can't convince her. She doesn't trust her, you did something to hurt her that made her mistrust you. That's life.
