I am reading a book with a lot of Brit slang (I think it is slang anyhow) I am unfamiliar with because I like in the states.
gaff, dosh, spliff, chill, tosser, lager, berk, wally, mac, git, pillock, wallop, eejit, snogged, bloke, posh, green, "in a bag"
I think that is all. If I listed anything found in a standard american eng dictionary it is because it was used in an obviously different way in this book. Thanks!

Gaff = a guy (I think). Also "gaffer". Usually "old gaff".
Dosh = money.
Spliff = a marijuana joint.
Chill = mellow (I think).
Tosser = a contemptible person.
Lager = beer, such as Carlsberg. (Only meaning I know.)
Berk = Idiot.
Wally = Idiot.
Mac = a term of address, like "Hey, Mac."
Git = a mean tosser.
Pillock = Idiot.
Wallop = to hit or strike; to spank.
Eejit = Idiot.
Snogged = to kiss (specifically French kiss); in some areas, as an adjective, drunk.
Bloke = a guy.
Posh = rich and snooty.
Green = a note (I think), usually monetary. Pluralized, as in "greens", it's money.
In A Bag = as in the phrase "I got it in a bag." meaning everything's under control.
These are off the top of my head, but bear in mind that some dialects will have different meanings according to location. (I wish I had my slang dictionary - it had all of these words and all of their meanings.)

I'll add my opinions! You'll need to judge by how many people give the same answer...!
gaff, place. Usually home, people often talk about 'my gaff.'
dosh, money.
spliff, a joint - drugs, not meat!
; )
chill, calm down.
tosser, (insult) w@nker / person who masturbates (the implication being that no-one would EVER want to have sex with this person.)
lager, type of beer, originally from Germany, usually compared unfavourably with 'gnat's piss'.
berk, (insult) idiot / prat / moron.
wally, (see 'berk'!)
mac, 1. apple computer. 2. raincoat. 3. Scottish person (in the same not-deliberately racist way that Irish people are occasionally called 'Paddy'.)
git, (see 'berk'!)
pillock, another insult - not sure of the etymology.
eejit, idiot.
snogged, kissed - deeply!
bloke, man (male, usually above about 15 years of age - but that depends on the viewpoint of the speaker!)
posh, (I only know the obvious meaning of that, so I'll leave it to others!)
green, 1. naive / inexperienced. 2. ecologically minded. 3. about to vomit!
"in a bag" 1. the body bag someone mentioned. 2. a condom. 3. "in THE bag" which means 'sorted' / don't worry, it's all been sorted out.

Dosh is money. Spliff is a reefer. Tosser, berk, wally, git, pillock and eejit (idiot) are all wankers aka a.s.s.h.o.l.e.s. Snogged is making out (kissing). Lager is beer. Bloke is a guy. Posh is fancy (think Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham). Mac used to be a raincoat.
