Yes. Many people in an institution for any reason will feel a little depressed because they are not in their own home and it feels uncomfortable. It depends on the institution and why the person is there. Sometimes one is there for depression and can get some help others may be in other institutions and for many reasons they become depressed. I just returned from 3 different ones. I am still just as depressed as the day I entered the first one. You be the judge!

I can see this being true. I went to rehab earlier this year and they diagnosed me with depression. It seems that everyone I know who has gone to this particular rehab came out on antidepressants.

hell yes I think if you are institutionlized then the people there feed you mental defect and aide you in to being depressed and crazy
