In my opinion it is because we are mostly made up of a country that is a Christian nation. Many Americans attend church and pray. The liberals are mostly made up of the elites who are for the most part atheists. They (liberals) do not understand the majority of Americans reasoning.
The liberals control the media and academia. This is why all of the liberal ideas come out of these two outlets.

One of us lost 10 points and one of us got 2 points. Democrats love America that's why we are taking it back from the Idiots in Washington. We are ahead in every poll for control of both the House and the Senate. A full 65 percent of Americans now say the war with Iraq was a mistake.

I don't think they do, not that I'm a liberal. I would bet that your one of those conservatives. I think you show your own ignorance by saying liberals "hate" America. I think people that are part of a party are just sheep anyway no matter what party they belong to.
