Of course as a Muslim I want respect, why would I want anyone to fear me?! I respect other people, I respect their beliefs and I expect respect from them.

Why in the world would anyone fear me? I'm not even frightening to little children, not even when I'm trying. All the Muslims I know in person are pacifists. : ) As for respect, I only want the respect of people who are respectful. I don't much care about the respect of the people who do not make respect a habit - those are not the people I would choose to associate with.

You should turn that question around.

You are those who expected Muslims to fear you forever but every rope has an end and the Muslims have reached the end of your rope.

If you suffer fear it is Allah who strikes fear into the hearts of disbelievers and those who make mischief in the Earth. And ALLAH aint finished with you as yet.

Think about Pharaoh and how he met his end. Watch it! It is inevitable.
