Of course Christian wives have affairs. In fact, Christians have a higher divorce rate than do atheists. One Christian once explained to me: "it's because the Devil spends so much more time trying to tempt us... we're victims of Satan and that's why there is more Christian divorce".

Riiiiiiiiiiight.

Yes, that can and does happen. Christian husbands also fall into temptation and cheat on their wives. Being a christian does NOT instantly make a person a perfect saint, able to resist all temptation. I saw a bumper sticker once that said, "Christians are not perfect; just forgiven". I would amend that to say, they are forgiven IF they repent and pray to God for forgiveness. Some believe, wrongly I personally feel, that a Christian can commit any kind of sin and still be 'saved' and covered by Christ's blood. I think there will sure be a lot of disappointed ones at Judgment Day.

She could just offer a sin offering to the priest and be forgiven. Catholics love money and the sin of others make them rich. Poor sinners never have enough to give. Maybe they shouldn't cheat and keep their pennies.

I'm sure there are some out there that have (or would)....I'd have to wonder about how sincere they are in their faith. I can tell you that I would never cheat on my husband.
