Signs and Symptoms of Genital Herpes...
Most people infected with HSV-2 are not aware of their infection. However, if signs and symptoms occur during the first outbreak, they can be quite pronounced. The first outbreak usually occurs within two weeks after the virus is transmitted, and the sores typically heal within two to four weeks. Other signs and symptoms during the primary episode may include a second crop of sores, and flu-like symptoms, including fever and swollen glands. However, most individuals with HSV-2 infection may never have sores, or they may have very mild signs that they do not even notice or that they mistake for insect bites or another skin condition.
Most people diagnosed with a first episode of genital herpes can expect to have several (typically four or five) outbreaks (symptomatic recurrences) within a year. Over time these recurrences usually decrease in frequency.
Complications of Genital Herpes...
Genital herpes can cause recurrent painful genital sores in many adults, and herpes infection can be severe in people with suppressed immune systems. Regardless of severity of symptoms, genital herpes frequently causes psychological distress in people who know they are infected.
In addition, genital HSV can cause potentially fatal infections in babies. It is important that women avoid contracting herpes during pregnancy because a first episode during pregnancy causes a greater risk of transmission to the baby. If a woman has active genital herpes at delivery, a cesarean delivery is usually performed. Fortunately, infection of a baby from a woman with herpes infection is rare.
Herpes may play a role in the spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Herpes can make people more susceptible to HIV infection, and it can make HIV-infected individuals more infectious.

The answer is simple... if you love her stay with her... if you don't love her then break up. Herpes is not the big deal people think it is... yes it is a virus, but it is not life threaterning at all... yes it can be annoying but that it is.. it is like a cold or a flu. Stats show that 80% of the population has it so chances are you prob had it before you got together and just havent had an outbreak. Your immune system can do an awesome job at supressing the virus. The problem with HSV is that the stigma is way way way worse that the virus... I know with me when i found out I had genital HSV1 I was devistated and felt like my life was over and i would never ever be with anyone... till i realized, well hey I have had one outbreak in April 2009 and nothing since... plus most people I have told dont care and still want to be with me anyways... She wouldnt have told you for the simple fact the stigma around herpes is shocking and worse than it should be.. if you can look past the virus and if you love her then stay with her... If she has genital HSV1 then the chances of you getting it is 5-3% per year... if she has Genital HSV2 then it is about 20-15%, however if she goes on supression meds like Valacyclovir then that will drop by 50%... If you get it.. expect 1 outbreak then none ever or 1 per second year for Genital HSV1 - or 4 or so outbreaks a year for genital HSV2 that are known to decrease over time. HSV is just way way way too common these days to think of it as a life sentence..

Herpes is a very dangerous thing...especially for a women. You need to look outside of your own existence on this one. A women has an open reproductive system...which makes her more susceptible to diseases and what not. Lets say, you keep it a secret..... you have sex with your wife, and she finds out, because she now has it. Herpes can cause internal scarring, making her go sterile....it increases a women's chance for Pelvicatory Inflammatory Disease, and you have broken her heart. Now, lets say you tell her. She will be mad.... might break up with you. But you save her some pain. You save her life even. You will forever have herpes. Are you willing to pass the pain to her?

I got diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about five years back, while I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I realize a lot of girls will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/2RtNB everything got better.
Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.

moral crap? being reported? YOU are going to report someone else for giving you crap for cheating on your wife and using this forum to learn how to keep it a secret? that's a laugh. there is no cure for herpes. you'll eventually give it to her. be a man and face your truth. better the kids find out that you are a cheater and a liar now than after you knowingly give their mother herpes. until then, wear a condom.
