Legal immigration - for
Illegal immigration - against
Every country on Earth is against illegal immigration, but for some reason all of sudden a lot of Americans seem to think we should just let anyone come into this country that wants to come. Do you open you house door and let anyone walk into you home, why would we do that with our country. It's not that hard to legally come here, our rules are a lot more lax then other countries, so everyone that comes here needs to go through the proper channels, otherwise we are ruining this country that we worked so hard for so many years to build.

I am against illegal immigration. I don't like them at all. I don't know why people don't do anything about it. It is ruining our country and everything that our ansestors made it to be. Because of so many illegal immigrants getting health and all of the other benefits in this country, my grandma, who is 73, has worked almost all of her life, and has fallen 9 times, and one of those times down concrete steps, and hit the bumper of here car on full impact on the back of her neck, and can barely walk now, she can't even get Welfare or Medicare or anything like that. The only thing she can get is Social Security, and that only pays $0.33 a DAY. So I think all of the illegal immigrants should be sent back and have to:
1. LEARN ENGLISH
2. HAVE TO ACTUALLY WORK TO EARN THEIR 2-STORY HOUSE, 60-INCH PLASMA SCREEN TV'S, AND $ FUGLY VEHICLES THAT LOOK STUPID WITH YOUR TINY TIRES, AND YOUR LAST NAME IN THE BACK WINDOW(why is it that you have your last name in your window, is it so you can remember that that is your alias last name?)
3. AND FINALLY... IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A JOB THAT PAYS AT LEAST MINIMUM WAGE, SHOULD BE EXPORTED IMMEDIATELY.
Hope that helps.

Legal Immigration: For it
Illegal Immigration: Against it

I'm for Immigration - It brings in culture from other lands. Immigration enrichens the USA. We should control immigration so as to not allow an overabundance of one culture or allow an overabundance of those who cannot assimilate or be productive citizens.

I'm NOT for "illegal" immigration - It is against the law to enter the USA undocumented. Illegal immigrants are not screened medically so they bring in disease. Their criminal records are not checked, so many criminals come in illegally. The biggest majority of illegal immigrants are low skilled, from one sector of the world (south of our border with Mexico), and are not self sufficient, requiring federal assistance to supplement them which is a burden to tax paying citizens and LEGAL immigrants. They do not assimilate well. Demand rights they don't have.

When immigration began in this country the huddled masses came to become American and have the freedom to better their lives. They were anxious to learn the language and to assimilate into society and they were grateful.

They were given nothing but OPPORTUNITY. The expected nothing but a chance to make it on their own, legally. They waited their turn, endured great hardship and long waits and entered legally.

They took whatever jobs they could get, worked extremely hard for long hours, took a lot of abuse, lived in substandard apartments, often were rejected for jobs because of their nationality or religion.

They were not looking for handouts. They were not draining a welfare system, they were not taking the advantages of this Country as if it were it's due. Wanting us to learn their language, fly their own flag. Kinda feels like we are being used.

There is no comparison between immigration today and how it originated. The original immigrants had a major role in making this country what it is today and it is wrong for others to follow by sneaking in, taking all our freedoms and advantages as their due, undercutting salaries for people who were born and raised her.

Health care costs are astronomical. We pay, the illegals just show up in the E.R. and add to that burden. We have overcrowded schools and now we are expected to provide college education.

They earn money and send it back to Mexico so they do not add to our economy. It is not the fault of the U.S.A. that their Country is impoverished. No, it is easier for their government to publish books on how to sneak into our country and take advantage of our overly generous system without considering our tax paying legitimate citizens.

Immigration is a very lengthy and difficult process to become an American citizen that I completely support. Border hopping is a criminal offense that people (including terrorists) commit in order to invade our country and have no intention of becoming Americans! That is what I am against!!! Don't try to make them the same thing!

Against. I'm for people who want to become legal citizens of this country through legal channels but not for someone who only comes here to send there money back to there family at home and not pay taxes here in this country yes they may or may not pay taxes as they work but what about us currency going to other countries and only being used in those countries they are not buying our products and paying taxes on the products not being payed for here
