You need to finish high school in the 90 percentile with strong math and chemistry. Some pharmacy schools in the U.S. might have lower criteria since I know few people went to Boston after being rejected by every Canadian University. Pharmacy degree now is Phm. D. (Doctor of pharmacy) and it is six years
I am a pharmacist and practise in Canada (Ontario) . I am a clinical pharmacist.
The requirements in the Faculty of Pharmacy U of Toronto is in the range of 93% for acceptance.
Good luck to you

To become a pharmacist you have to first attend college as an undergrad and take all your pharmacy school pre-reqs. These include: General and Organic Chemistry, Physic 2, normally 1-2 biology class, Math through Calculus, Communications, and then a variety of general eduation courses. Then you take the PCAT which is the standard test for pharmacy school admissions. You can apply for pharmacy school with or without a bachelors degree. Sometimes having the degree is helpful. A chemistry or biology degree is the most common students take. Also Biochemistry is good. Hope this helps! Good luck and remember keep high grades!

You don't need an undergraduate major to be accepted into Pharmacy. You need to do two years of undergraduate prereqs before you can transfer. The prereqs are general bio, general chem, organic chem, physics, public speaking, anatomy, physiology, economics, calculus 1, English comp, and some other general eds.
